You ladies are a bad influence!

I just bought Don Juan. Gasp...I think I might pass out. I have always thought people would have to be nuts to pay full price for a cart when you can get them on sale or get them on ebay. But you (yes, I mean you, Charys!!!! LOL) made me want that soooo badly! I just blew the rest of my mad money - money I'd been saving for some new clothes that won't have spit up stains on them...guess that will have to wait! Please tell me I'm going to love it as much as I think I'm going to!

let me know ... cause I have some mad money too, and I'd love to have that cart!!! Wink you'll have to post some layouts once you get it and use it. I see Charys' pages with it, but I think she's the only one here to have it.

:eekout:!

You ARE going to love it!!!!
Using the Under Pressure setting, you basically have a completely different font. It's SO cool! And it has all kinds of images that I LOVE. Like the house (that I did that mini-album out of), lips, etc. Smile I can't wait for you to get it in and play with it!!! Then you can do something and inspire ME!

So ditto. I don't think I'd get anywhere near the usage with my crafting and still the want is there. Doesn't help that hubby found out it can do vinyl lettering and thinks maybe it would be good to have because I've been wanting BADLY to put up a prayer on my wall and we can't afford going through companies to get it. (A cricut would cost about the same as getting the lettering from a company.) Bad husband. Bad. We need a computer first and to finish paying off my student loan before anymore luxuries. Yet still he tempts me. sigh.

Michelle, you are better than me by far! I'd be all like "ok, when can we order it? This minute? tonight?"

Student loans, new computer, mortgage, what's that?? ha

Saying "not yet" was probably one of the stupider things I've done in my life- I fully admit that. LOL

What really holds me off is knowing how cheap they were Black Friday. Why oh why couldn't he have offered THEN?!?!?!?

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have a really, really hard time buying things that are not on sale when I know I could be getting it cheaper if I just wait till it's on sale again. Even little things like a loaf of bread. Lol So I would feel the exact same way about the Cricut for sure! If you could buy that cart in a store I definitely, definitely, DEFINITELY would not have just ordered it and paid what I did for it.

ETA: Oh, and my buyer's remorse is not as bad this morning as I would have expected! Guess scrapbooking is more important that clothes in my world. Smile

Haha! You guys are great! Thanks for helping me justify it!! LOL

My other excuse was that "it's like getting two cartridges...or at least a cartridge and a half" because it does so much cool stuff. LOL. Not sure DH was buying that. Lol
