She did a great job explaining it. It's works perfectly! You can find it at any hobby store or ebay.
I did this once with my current mat a few months ago. Has anyone else noticed that at first it is almost TOO sticky? The first couple times I used it, little pieces of the paper stuck on when I peeled the paper off after cutting (if that makes sense)
Lauren, the same thing happened to me. And it stayed too sticky so I bought new mats. When the mat I'm using is toast, then I'll try the glue again.
Charys, I'm going to add this to our sticky if you haven't already.
It happened the first time I did that, but i took a piece of scrap cardstock and stuck it on then pulled it off about 20 times and it was just right. After that I started putting on just the THINNEST of layers of glue and it's the perfect amount of sticky. HTH.
