Oh, what the hell. I'm back up to 183lbs. :shock: This sucks!! I worked out three times this week and yesterday I had a really good day. I only ate a bagel for lunch and chicken quesadilla's for dinner. Oh ya.. and a piece of chocolate birthday cake - but just a small one. No snacking or anything yesterday. I guess I must have pigged out at some point this week.
Yesterday I decided to hop on my tredmill for a half hour run. It turned into a half hour walk. I was running and feeling like I was running 100 MPH, and when I looked down at my feet I was jogging a little faster than a slow walk!! I didn't realize how out of shape I really am!!
Well just as I figured. The same weight as last week! 178.5! YUCK! but.......................
I lost a total of NINE inches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thighs -.5 EACH!
Though I still would LOVE to see the scale number go down. I am going to keep busting butt and hope for more inches next week. Next Friday night I am going out for my best friends bday and I would LOVE to fit into the jeans I was wearing when I got prego. I think it's a long stretch but we will see. They are stretch jeans so maybe.......
I am also going to be adding bike riding and walking outside into my cardio (3 days of bike, 3 days of walking, and still doing an hour of elliptical a day) I am also FINALLY sore! I did a couple circuit training/toning tapes and they worked!
Great job for those who lost weight and for all the exercising!!!
Me, I gained a pound last week
So I was at 147. Dang it. I totally expected it though because I pigged out.
So now it's time to get back on track. I got me a kit at the store that has an exercise ball and pump and a resistance band and then a 30 minute workout (toning) dvd with it. I just did it tonight for the first time and it kicked my butt!! I really think if I can stick to doing it at least 4 times a week plus crunches on the ball on the other days I'll start to see some results in the flabbiness. Here's to hoping.
I hoping if I can REALLY stick to my diet and exercise this week that next week I'll at least be back down to 146 but hopefully 145. We'll see.

i was muuuuuuuuch better today! went to the gym (haven't been there since i was just pg! about this time last year! :oops:) i did 15 mins on the stair master and 15 on the eliptical and then some crunches. would like to have done more but had to get home to feed maxy! the baby always wins!
here's to a GREAT week for all! three more weeks til i have to don a swimsuit....:shock:
one more thing....there seem to be a few lossers who have gone awol...do i need to do some more butt kicking???
I just wanted to say that I am LOVING my exercise ball, esp. for crunches. If anybody else is having a hard time doing crunches (hard on the back and hips) you have to get one of these! It even made my legs sore too while I was doing them because you're kind of in a squatting position.
I did 200 tonight and my back, neck and hips didn't hurt at all. I had to take a short rest at each 25 though because my belly sure was burning! My stomach is SO out of shape and flabby! I used to be able to do crunches forever wihtout a break but that was before both kiddos
I did much better today with my eating too. I sure hope I can make it to 145 by next weigh in!
194.5...down 3 pounds from last week!! Probably because I had mastitis and had no appetite, but I'll take it
Heather, I LOVE my exercise ball too! And as a bonus it works to quiet a screaming baby if you hold them while you sit and bounce.
I am still doing good! I could be eating most days just alittle better but I am DEFINATELY doing better than how I was normally. and I am still working out everyday! Really really really hoping to see some pounds off this week and alot more inches! I will be doing weigh and measure on friday morning instead since we are going out friday night for my best friends bday and you know alcohol has lots of calories! Even though I normally only drink a couple, still...........................
I'm doing pretty good. I have been walking and doing my stroller class. I eat pretty good, sometimes I get in to the sweets, but I try to limit them. I feel so ravenous at times still. Anyone else like that. Since I have had Shane, I've never got that I'm sooooo stuffed feeling. I think I could eat forever! Do you think it's bfing?

I've been good, walking every day this week, am going to try and get to the pool this afternoon. No junk food, just a hot choc yesterday but that isn't too bad - skim milk and cocoa powder, oh and 2 marshmallows!!
Ok well I still weigh 148lbs but I'm much more serious about what I am eating. I'm taking it slow - don't need a total shock to the system!!! LOL I have cut out salts, fried foods, and most of the sweets. I still have one piece of candy or a hand full of M&M's. Working out hasn't been great the last week, I think I lost motivation but I'm getting back on track!!! I'm also downing water like crazy & have noticed my skin is looking much better!!! So my new short term goal is to lose 5 lbs in the next 2 weeks & keep it off!!!
Sarah- Stroller Strides is a mom workout group. They have several locations around the states. I don't think they have gone international. I know the owner. Anyway, it's great. You get to workout with your baby and it is a great workout. Here's a link http://www.strollerstrides.com/. Maybe you can start one in your area.

Eating been ok, but I still get that craving for sweets! I'm going to have a hot chocolate tonight.
Well I did weigh/measure in this morning instead of saturday since I am going out tonight and sure to have a couple drinks which is loaded with empty calories.
I lost 3lbs this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And only 2.5 more inches, but that brings my totals after only 2 weeks up to 3 inches off my waist, 3 off my stomach, 1.5 off my hips and 1 inch off each thigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (my chest and ribs stayed the same as last week so still 2 inches off my chest and 1 off my ribs) I am very happy!!!!!!!
Also we just switched last night to comcast digital cable and now we have the On Demand library of shows/movies, well I was looking and there is a whole section of exercise!!! They have EVERYTHING, it breaks it down into cardio, dance, pilates, yoga, toning, ect. and has a section all on quick workouts that are all 12 min long. I am sooooooooo psyched to get to try all these new workouts! They change them every so often too so I will get to keep doing new ones.

I didn't have such a great week, didn't do as much exercise as I would have liked (I had university and my mum down ) and ate more crap that usual. I weighed in this morning and I lost 600g (1.3 pds) I know it is still a loss but I have been loosing at least 1 kilo each week so I am dissapointed! Must get back into actuon this week b/c I have to be in a swimsuit in TWO weeks!!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

weigh in today 142. Down from 147 last week. Unfortnately it's because of stress and I'm unable to eat I would much rather have those 5 pounds back if it meant things could be "normal" again
Back down to 180 - that's three lbs since last week! I'm so surprised because I had a horrible week as far as exercising goes. I cleaned my house and that was about all the exercise I got!
The best news - I've lost 11.5" from my waist, hips, bust, arms, legs and bum! I knew my jeans were fitting better! Yeehaw - I can't wait to get thin!

I should start measuring that too. I fit in my pre prego jeans now. Just have to tighten up the extra skin that hangs over. Do you think after 3, I have enough elastin for it to shrink back? I feel I will for ever have elephant sking there! LOL
I haven't posted here for awhile, but I stepped on the scale tonight and realized I really need to get my butt in gear. I had been down to 124 (that was first thing in the morning) at one point a few months ago, and tonight I was at 133 I can't believe I've gained that much weight back. I have been eating all day long lately. I've also been drinking too much soda, and I'm not even usually a soda drinker. It has got to stop! I'm going to start eating healthy again and start walking again on a regular basis. I took a walk with the kids today to the park and it felt so good to be out doing something. I'm going to try to take 2 walks a day (one in the morning and one after naps in the afternoon) as long as it's not too cold outside. My goal is to get back to 120, which is what I was at when I got pg with JJ. I know I can do it, I just need to keep focused and stop getting tempted by junk!
Edited to add: I weighed myself this morning and was 129, so I haven't gained back quite as much as I thought. I still need to lose 9 lbs though!
Ok well I have been doing pretty good!!! Right now I am down to 145 after getting there then going back up to 150!!!
I am eating much much better but still have some slip ups every now & again. Usually something sweet of course!!
I am eating much more vege's & fruits then I think I ever have in my whole life!!! I cut out ALL the fast foods, fried, salty, processed, and most sweets!!! I only work on my ellipiticle now, I think I was overworking myself before & expecting better results. Now I am for focused on what I eat & then as I get better at that I will work out more.
I do find it very hard to food shop now...everything is processed, high in fat, sodium, ect. Basically all I buy is fruit, veges, chicken, and maybe beef. I'm buying a lot of all natral foods now too...little more expensive but I think worth it.
I'm really serious now and want to stay this way!!! The big test will be tomorrow, we are having a bake off here at work so there's going to be TONS of sweets & lots of good fatty foods!!! I'm brining in a salad! Guess I won't be wining that contest...lol
Jenny, I feel for you! A bake off at work. Too tempting for me! Good luck with that! You can do it!!!! Just limit yourself, don't deprive yourself. Have only a small piece or one of something.
I'm still exercising every day but didnt eat so good for a couple of days. Now I'm back on track. I think for the weigh in tomorrow I will be about the same as last week.
I am having a TERRIBLE week!!! So bad in fact that I am not weighing in this week and will do my best to get back on track by next Saturday! UGH! I hate myself...
WooHooo, I lost 1 lb! The reason I'm so excited - I broke through the 180's and am now 179!
Is it just me, or does it take an extra long time and extra hard work to hit those "9"s - 179, 169, 159, etc. I seem to blow through all the digits until it's time to go down in the tens. Bleh...
I actually weighed in a pound heavier than last week but I lost 5 pounds last week and I think my body went in to starvation mode because I ate REALLY good this week. I didn't expect to lose anything. Also AF is here so the pound could be water-that's what I'll blame it on.
I'm still at 145 - happy I'm staying there but need to keep losing!!!
Well, since I'm basing my starting weight on just 2 days ago, I haven't lost anything. Hopefully next week I will see some results. I bought lots of healthy stuff at the grocery store yesterday, but I haven't been able to exercise since we're all sick and I feel like crap. Hopefully we'll have some nice days in the next week and I'll be able to get outside and walk.
Well, i'm still at 138lbs. I haven't walked but one day this week and Derek's birthday is Valentine's Day and we have been celebrating at school with cupcakes and this weekend we are having a party. I bought a pinata and have been eating all the candy that goes in it. So, I didn't expect a weight loss. :cry:
Okay, I had my little counter stuck at 146 for months now. The truth is, I had GAINED 2 1/2 pounds right after Christmas, and I kept thinking I was going to lose it, so I never adjusted my counter. Well, last Monday I started a 1450 calorie diet and stopped nursing. Keira had practically weaned herself and she's 5 1/2 months now. So, in 6 days, I lost 3 1/2 pounds. Yeah! I just have to keep it up.
Well I gained a half pound. And didnt measure caue I didnt do mly toning exercises all week so didnt want to get depressed. Going to work extra hard at exercising and toning this week.
I weighed in today since a friend and I have Friday weigh-ins. I weighed 141. Down 1 pound from last week. I was actually really happy because I ate like CRAP most days and on Wednesday I weighed 144, but it must've been water gain or something.
So I now have 6 pounds to lose to get to my pre-pregnancy weight but 11 to go to get to my goal weight. I went ahead and put a ticker back in my siggy. I used the weight I was when I delivered Addie to make it look more impressive LOL!
I ate HORRIBLY this week, so I didn't even weigh myself this morning. So I'm starting new today and I'm REALLY going to try to do well this week!
I have doen TERRIBLY but I decided to weigh myself this morning before we go on our vacation and I lost 1/2 a kilo! Woo hoo! Not sure how but who cares!

Somedays are easier than others. Sometimes I just feel so HUNGRY!! I've been totally chowing salsa.
Salsa is one of my favorite things! I put it on frozen veggies, chicken, in a tortilla with low-fat cheese. with baked tortilla chips.
A good snack is sugar free jello or pretzels. Hang in there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been doing pretty good - I broke into the 130's - well 139 but still I'm excited!! I have been working very hard & its paying off!!!
I even went down a size and celebrated by buying some new pants
Its so hard dieting - but once I started sticking to it now I don't really want the junk cause I know it's going to make me feel guilty!
I just started excersing again - I still can't stick to that too well but I'm trying.
My hope are to be at 130 by the summer. I know I will never have the body I did before Nate but I at least want to feel good about myself again!!!
THAT'S AWESOME JENNY! I LOVE when I get down to the next number in lbs. I'm still goin to the gym 5 days a week! whoo-hooo! I love it so much. and the kids love going too. last week I did an hour of cardio each time and hardly any weights cause I think an hour is long enough for the kids to be in the kids room. Then this week I am doing 30 min of cardio and 30 min of weights alternating legs and arms on different days. Next week I will do the hour of cardio each time again and instead of doing elliptical and bike, do elliptical and jogging on the treadmill.

Well I'm still refusing to change my ticker The weight is coming back off. I'm doing really good diet-wise. Not so great exercising. Basically all I'm doing is crunches but I've at least been doing those everyday.
My goal is still 130 by the time we go on vacation (May 27th) not sure I'll make it. We'll see. My shorter term goal is to be in the 130's (139) by April 1st. I weighed either 144 or 145 this morning. Couldn't really tell. Stupid scale.
I'm starting to wonder if the reason I packed on some pounds that I had lost was because Addie started getting about 10-12 oz of formula a day. I never really changed the way I was eating so now I've cut my calories some more so I'm hoping it will come back off.
Also DH got on the scale and was shocked at what he saw so he's not watching what he eats too. That makes it SO much easier. Before he would be munching on popcorn, chips, cheese and pepperoni and it was SO hard not to join him, esp. when we were watching a movie or something!
I really think I can make my goal by April 1st.
Well, my first weigh in is tomorrow. I'm not too nervous. I really haven't "cheated" at all this week. Maybe a few more chips then I should, nothing major though.
But the working out thing....Man, I need to get my butt in gear. I belong to Curves. I should go. I want thie weather to get better. I want to take Emmy on stroller rides!
