Well I REALLY have to change my ticker. I got down to 141 but was due to stress and not eating so I never should've counted it as a real weight loss. I knew once I started eating again, even if it was healthy the weight would come back.

Well SOMETHING happened and I got clear back up to 148! WTH?! But I think part of it was water. I'm slowly getting back down. This morning I was 144. I'm really eating good now though so maybe in a week or two I can really be back down to 141.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been terrible! I've started gaining weight again! OMG :shock: I am sooooooooooo MAD at myself! I know I look little in my siggy pic (why do you think I have it there!!!) but I have always been blessed with having a small upper body but I am a CLASSIC pear, my bottom half is always two sizes bigger, and at the moment they (butt, thighs, belly) are getting BIGGER & BIGGER! I am back up to 143 pds (65 kilos) I was down to 140!!! I want to crack those 30's as well! The year before I got pg I was 118 pounds!!!!! I would KILL to be that size again! I know that is unrealistic, realistically I am aiming for 125! Alright, at this stage 135 would be great! So girls, I need some serious help, PLEASE! I promise to cheer you on, WELL DONE to those of you that are doing so well!

My weight stayed the same as last week (128). I've been eating okay I guess (well, some days anyway!) But I made peanut butter cookies last week and ate a TON of them :oops: Then my mom bought a bag of Starburst jellybeans yesterday and I ate a lot of those too. I really want to get back into my healthy routine though. I just have to keep the junk out of the house, which is hard because I'm at my parents' house! Next Tuesday we fly out to CT though, so then I'll be able to control what's in the house. I think that will help a lot.

I lost 3 lbs last week. But my week has started badly. I have got the munchies. Todd's out of town for a week, I have a test wenesday, and Emmy is a crabby pants, and I want food. Guess that's why I'm on the computer and not down stairs!

I have lost about 15 lbs since I started trying, but I feel a plateau!!!

I am at 202 right now, my goal is 185.... :shock: I know, but I am 6 foot tall. 185 is thin for me and I can wear a two piece!!! WOO HOO!!!!

Hang in there Sarah!!! I'll be here for you. We can PM each other and say what did you eat? did you work out?? I hate accountability, but it makes you think twice when you know you have to answer to someone else....want to do it with me????

All I did was read, and I got the last motivation I needed to go do my Firm workout....I'm off to it!!!

Weigh in was yesterday. I cannot believe it...I lost 3.8 lbs!! Grand total of 6.8 lbs so far!!! I still have A LOT to go, but it hasn't been so bad.

How are you girls doing??

I haven't posted forever about my weight. I got on the scale this AM and I am 136.2#. Not bad, I am back to pre prego weight and fit into most of my clothes, but I have definatly have a ton of extra skin in the tummy. I don't really think it is going away much. I'm kinda depressed, but I have 3 kids! Oh, and the boobs have gone way south!!!! I miss my perky body. Sad

WTG Amy & Kris on dropping those pounds this week! WTG! I am soooooooo jealous! I have just gone through my cupboards and washed a tub of ice-cream and a bottle of chocolate sauce down the sink and threw out the candy I had! I am BACK on the diet! I HAVE to do this! I have no jeans that fit me and it is getting colder and I am VERY sick of wearing the same pair of cargo pants! I am sure those around me are sick of them too but I refuse to buy jeans when I have enough pairs in the cupboard that WILL FIT ME SOON!

Great job getting rid of the bad, evil goodies. I think the reason I've been doing so good is because I gave up sweets for lent. It was hard, but I think I'm over the craving hump. If I get a craving I eat peanutbutter on a gram cracker. It fixes me every time.

it was a rough weekend for me but I managed to stay at 138. It seems that these last 8-10lbs are really going to be the hardest. I do need to start working out though ~ I have been such a HUGE slacker on that department.

WTG sdmom on being at pre preg weight!! I know what you mean about the heading south thing. Have you tried Victoria's Secret, I know that I feel much much better about my saggy girls when I have a nice push up bra on.

WOOHOOO Kris on the weight loss!!! Your doing an aswome job!!!

Everyone is doing such a great job, even if your not losing weight your still doing good. Don't get discouraged, remember that we can't diet all the time & we still need to enjoy life. Were mommies & our bodies are different but look at those wonderful children of ours!!! Don't worry the weight will come off but were all still fablious no matter what!!!

Uggg..I had a craving for Reese's peanut butter cups. So instead of buying one darn pack to get me over the craving, I buy a whole BAG of their peanut butter eggs, with the reasoning that I'll have one a day. WRONG!!!! I am such a cow. I think I ate 3/4 of the bag yesterday because I was tired, bored and hungry! I threw the remainder of the bag away this morning. I am so embarrassed!!

I don't reccomend this as a weight loss solution but after a NASTY bout of gastro (stomach flu) I have lost nearly 5 pounds in the last 24 hours! :shock: If only it were fat instead of fluids! I feel ROTTEN!!! I am going to take the positive out of it and use it to kick start my diet (again!). Though it will be a few days before I'll be doing any exercise! I have ZERO energy!

Kris - don't beat yourself up. What's done is done! It's a new day tomorrow!

I had half a pkg of reeses pieces tonight, but I can't deprive myself of sweets all the time or I will go to Dairy Queen and gain ten lbs in one sitting. BTDT so I just keep it around or buy it when I feel a need and try to limit it (like only eating half a snickers!!!)

Well, that would be great if I could wear a non nursing bra during the day. I miss my old bras. Almost done nursing, so I'll go shopping for some new ones soon. If only the sagginess was the only problem. Not only do they droop after 3 kids, when you get them in a push up bra, there is a lot of extra skin. I then get the double boob thing. Not a pretty sight!!!!! :shock:

Well I'm doing good the last couple days with eating. have been exersicing for a couple weeks but wasnt eating great. So I'm working on that. I am right there with ya on the saggy boobs. Holy cow. I told dh I REALLY want a boob lift. He said we will see how they are after I lose my weight and if they get worse I can get one. I get so depressed at my floppy pancake boobs and they really bother me. Alot. 25 more lbs and I can get my tattoo too! Smile

Jessica I'm TOTALLY with you on the breast lift. I've actually been looking at before and after pictures on the internet and it's TOTALLY what I need. I don't wnat implants-don't like the idea of something artificial in my body plus i'm fine with the size anyways (middle to large C when not nursing). But I just look in the mirror and it does NOT look like I'm looking at the body of an almost 25 year old. This may sound vain but I LOVED my breasts before i had kids. One of the very few things i was never self-concious about and now only 3 years and two kids later I can't believe how much has changed! WOW!

I think I need to start hiding some money away to save up for surgery! We'll see!

The saggy boobs I think I can live with, its these damn stretch marks that make me want to vomit everytime I look in the mirror!!! I need some surgery to get rid of those. Wait :? Surgery to get rid of scars?!?!? Is that an oxymoron?? Sad :?

ok well I'm down to 135!!! Yahoo I still have 5 more lbs to go but in total I have lost 15lbs all together from my last weigh in before I had Nate (180 gulp) I have lost 45lbs!!! I never really included that because most of that weigth was baby & fluids.
I'm super excited that I'm almost to my goal weight but now I really need to start working out & getting my flabby abs back to normal!!!

Well, has everyone all but given up their diets or are you just not posting???

My weight is still yo-yoing all over the place. Up 3 pounds down 4 then I just keep doing that over and over and over. Staying somewhere between 142 and 145 usually. It's driving me insane so DH said he's doing the low-carb thing for awhile so I'm joining him.
We've done it before until we got to the weight we wanted and then just switched to low calorie to maintain and that worked well. THose diets just always fail I think when you just go off the low carb but don't watch calories or anything. So we'll see how it goes. I'm in need for some immediate results.
The first two weeks are the worst but I am DESPERATE to get back in to my old summer clothes. And we only have 6.5 weeks until we go on vacation and I tried on my bathing suit...DISGUSTING. It's not even a revealing suit. It's an athletic type that has a tank-style top and a cute skirt as bottoms (no belly showing) but still it was hideous. So I've got to get busy!

I'll let you know how it goes...
At least it's getting warm so we can grill steaks, chicken and chops on the grill every night. That helps.

I was yo-yoing like crazy too but then I have been busting butt going to the gym 5 days a week and trying to eat decent and I lost 4lbs last week! yea! Hoping for 2-3 a week the next couple weeks. I also just got my bike fixed so I want to start doing a couple miles 3 times a week and walking 3 times a week. We had a couple 70 almost 80 degree days that helped motivate me too! I had to wear SHORTS.

I have actually done pretty well. I've lost a total of 10.2 and got my "10 LBS Ribbon" Sat at my WW meeting. The plan is getting easier, plus taking Emmy on 3 walks a day has help a lot!

On Monday morning (after the holiday where I ate WAY too much I weighed 146 :oops: Today I was down to 143-YEAH! This low carb thing is working! DH and I went out for hot wings last night. What kind of diet can you go out and eat hot wings and not feel guilty?! (Don't get me wrong this low carb thing SUCKS I'm just trying to look on the bright side Lol )

On a down note-we are going on vacation on May 26th. I tried on my capri pants from the summer before I got pregnant with Addie and they were SO tight. I'm assuming if I stick to this I can get to my pre-pregnancy weight by the time we leave, which was 135 but I still don't know if these pants will fit. I can't believe how tight they were Sad

Still going to the gym and went shopping for an outfit on saturday and went down a pants size AND those were way baggy in the thighs and butt!!!!!!! I was ESTATIC! but the waist fit good cause I am so unpreportioned since having Kay. And for once I got the top size I thought I would need and it looked so GOOD on me! hahaa And went down from a DDD in bras to a DD so now I can actually find bras at normal stores instead of ordering online. YEA YEA YEA! I have been wearing my new 'real' bra since the last 6 months all I wore was sports bras. I'm totally psyched and hoping to keep seeing the results. Pound wise I am only at like 7lbs but those inches are showing!

That is AWESOME Jessica! There's nothing better than actually SEEING the results verses just numbers on the scale. I can't wait until I am down a pant size (which will put me back at my pre-pregnancy size).

Today marked the end of my first week on the low carb diet and I lost a total of 4 pounds. Pretty good considering on Saturday we totally cheated and went to Buca di Beppo. We had already made reservations several weeks ago because we had concert tickets and it's right beside the arena.

7 pounds to my pre-pregnancy weight and 12 pounds to my ultimate goal weight.

Wondering what happened to all the others who used to post! Sabrina??? You're the one who started this!

Well, it's been over a month since I posted. I am feeling terrible about myself. I've gained 3 lbs back in the last 2 weeks. I've been eating non-stop and I don't know why. I think I'm board or depressed. I'm not BF any more so I don't know why I'm so hungry. Actually, I'm not even hungry, I've just pigging out cause I've gained weight and now I can't control my eating. You know when you tell yourself to stop the sweets and then you want them even more? That is what I'm doing!
Well, tomorrow is a new day, and I'll try again.

I know not a lot of us are following this thread anymore so I'm probably just talking to myself here but I just have to say that I lost another pound for a total of 5 pounds in 10 days on low carb. I'm SO happy. I'm ALMOST to the 130's again. Hoping to reach 135 or better by the end of May. May 26th to be exact Smile

I guess it's kind of a version of the Atkins but I don't follow it quite as strictly as Atkins says you should the first 2 weeks.
Basically you stay under 20 carbs (total carbohydrates not "net carbs" ) It's so hard though. The only reason I can do it right now is because DH is doing it too.
Basically you can't eat any bread, rice, yellow vegetables, anything good Smile
For example ONE slice of bread has 15 carbs.

Here is my menu for a day...

Breakfast-some kind of breakfast meat and eggs (sometimes I don't eat eggs-not a big fan and just eat a string cheese or something)

Lunch a salad with full fat ranch dressing (no croutons) I usually put cheese, some pepperoni and maybe some sunflower seeds.

snack-1 servings of peanuts (about 40 pieces I think)

Dinner-meat and a green vegetable. Usally a big piece of meat (steak, chicken, prok chops, etc) only 1 cup of vegetables.

And then I splurge and eat a carb smart ice cream bar at night. THey have almonds on them and are SO good and have 9 carbs.

I think I've actually been eating around 30 carbs a day but in a normal diet I read people usually eat 250-300 carbs so obviously that is still drastically less.

You can lose weight really fast doing this if you stick to it. But when you do go off of it you HAVE to do low calorie or something or the weight comes back even faster than you lost it Smile But isn't that true with most all diets Smile

I'm just kind of doing my own version of low carb but there are other diets besides Atkins. South Beach is one and I know they allow more carbs and have different rules.
One thing is you really do stop craving the sweets and carbs once they get out of your system.

I don't love the diet but I love the fast results and considering I have to put a bathing suit on in ONE month I was desperate Smile

And I think it's great you are exercising. Even though I'm losing weight I am SO flabby it's disgusting and I'm doing no kind of consistent exercising Sad

OH MY GOD. can I just share that I just realized that roll at the bottom of my baby belly is GONE?!?!?!?!?!?!? I HATED it and was just looking in the mirror at my stomach (for once in a LONG time) and the roll is gone and it's flatter! I'm soooooooooooooo psyched! I really notice a difference in my thighs and hips too, I dont think it's drastic yet where others notice but I'm getting there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is AWESOME! I was just looking at my disgusting belly today. It's getting a little thinner BUT there's all the lose skin, strech marks and it kind of looks ripply a bit the more I loose, which I know is still fat. When I pinch the skin I can feel the bumpy fat-gross, I know.

So I've got to start exercising more. Even if it's just walking and then AB and leg exercises here. We don't have any gyms here in town that do babysitting and in fact we only have one gym period and it's not even very nice. So that really isn't an option.
I wish it was though! They voted to buils a YMCA and in my small town it failed by something like 30 votes. I was SO mad and for some reason it's never been back on the ballot.
To get back on topic-I did loose yet another pound today so I'm now 140.
I can't believe I may see the 130's next week!

I did do 100 crunches and scrubbed my car. That was the extent of my exercise though Sad I think I'll do 100 more crunches before bed.

As disgusting and depressing as it would've been I should've taken before pictures of my belly and fat that way I could see the progress I'm making more. But I would never do it Smile

they say bicycle crunches are the most effective. I do 50 in the morning and 50 at night. Smile
whooooooo-hoooooooo on the pound and those 130's being right around the corner! I cant wait to congradulate you next week for it cause I know you will do it! Also little things you can do durning the day are lunges or squats, those are GREAT. And I do them while holding Kay for extra weight. But only if you have good balance hold the baby while you do them! Wink

Hey girls! I'M BACK! And I hate to admit it but I have been gaining weight! GROSS! BUT, things are about to change! I joined Weight Watchers last week (Thurs) and I weighed in at :oops: 66.3 kilogram = 146.16 lb, lbs!!!!!!!!!! :oops: HORRIBLE!!! My goal weight at WW is 59 kilos = 130 pounds! But I'd love to be (57k = 125lbs)

Good for you Sarah! I did WW in the past and it's reallt great. I may be switching back to that when I get sick of the low carb thing Smile
And our goal weights are the same. My pre-pregnancy weight is 135 but my goal weight is 130 but I'd LOVE to be 125 again. Just doubt for me that it is too realistic. So right now I'm just focusing on the 135 and will take it from there Smile

I'm getting ready to weigh myself in a minute. I would love for it to say 139 because Ive been stuck at 140 for almost a week but I know I'm bound to see 140 yet again.

I just weighed myself and I *might* have lost a little. We just have the regular, old dial scale and today I could kind of see the 140 line and also the 139 line so I guess maybe I lost a half a pound.
So I wasn't TOO disappointed UNTIL I decided to try on my capri pants again.
I tried them on when I started the low carb diet and weighed 146. They were super tight and nasty looking but did button.
I tried them on again this morning weighing in at 139-140 and I swear they were possibly TIGHTER! And even if they weren't tighter they were just as tight as before.
I am only 5 pounds fromt he weight I was when I wore them last time. I know they still won't fit even if I lose 5 more pounds.

I guess all my fat and everything has just shifted too much. My thighs, butt, and lower abdomen are much bigger than they were before. So I'm just forgetting about my old summer clothes. I have a birthday coming up and my mom will give me money early if I want and I'll just buy me all new clothes (in a bigger size Sad ) Oh well. That's life sometimes.

One more thing to add. I have started walking every evening after the kids go to bed. I just started 3 days ago but two days I walked 2.4 miles and the other day I walked 3.2 miles. And I do a fast, power walk so hopefully if I keep that up it will help trim me up a bit and even if not I at least feel better doing it. I'd love to take the kids but I hate our double stroller and every single time you put James in the stoller he thinks he HAS to go to the park and it turns in to a tantrum if he doesn't so thankfully they go to bed by 7:30 and I walk then. It's relaxing to to just go by myself Smile

Yahoo for me!!!! I just got back from my WW meeting and I lost 2.5 kilos! :shock: that's 2lb 5oz!!! I am so pleased with myself! I fed right before I went so I am sure that helped but still, that's a great loss! So now I weigh, 63.8 kilos (140lb 6oz) which means next week I should be in the 130's!!! Yahoo

Ugh, you guys are all doing so well.... and I'm doing terrible over here. Hence the reason I haven't posted in a LONG time. I was doing great - went from 186lbs to 163lbs in about 3 months and now I've been hovering at 165 for the past month. THIS SUCKS!! I keep eating and eating and eating - and I'm not even hungry! DH is a snack-a-holic, so every night he brings me M&M's and not just a small bag but the big family bag. So what do I end up stuffing my face with all night... M&M's. I realized that it's been months since I had a piece of fruit, so I ended up buying some bananas, apples and grapes last week. I'm now just trying to eat at least one piece of fruit per day.... how healthy, eh?

Alisa, I fell back into a eating stage too, but today is a new day and I'm going to be kicking butt from now on and darnit, you will too!!!!!!!!!! Lol

I got some protein powder and will be having a protein drink a couple times a day. Plus eating high protein ( mainly lowfat cottage cheese for breakfast, chicken or tuna for lunch, and dark greens salad with chicken for dinner)

Summer is right around the corner girls......... well for most of us! LOL My goal is close to you girls too! I wanted 130, then changed it to 129 just so I can say I"m in the 120's. LOL but I have a LONG way to go. My goal is 30lbs in 2.5 months cuase then I am going to Michigan to see family I havent seen in YEARSSSS (since the last time I was skinny!)

Hi! I'm back! I've been gainging as well. I was to 136lbs and now I'm back to 139! I really need to exercise more. I've been busy with the kids taking short cuts in eating quick meals. I've been cooking pasta like craz. I guess I'm going back to chicken and fish.

Sarah- Great job starting weight watchers. I should look into some kind of group so I can get motivated with someone too. I need an exercise partner.

Oh- do any of you have digital cable? We have On Demand channels and I did bellydacing on the exercise tv and it was a great workout, and fun too!

Anyway, I need to do 15 min every day of some sort of fitness. that is my short term goal.

Amy, I have ondemand with comcast too and I LOVE how they have TONS of exercising shows on there! I have done a few a month ago and am going to start doing one a day again. They really have every kind of exercise on there. When we switched to comcast in feb I was estatic when I saw all the fitness shows Smile

OH I'm jealous of the fitness channels. We have directv and I don't think we have any Sad I'll have to double check to make sure.

OOOhhh those fitness channels sound awesome, I'd LOVE that belly dancing! There is some good wobble on my belly these days! LOL!

I am such a dufus, I got my weight loss wrong from last week, I actually lost FIVE and a HALF punds in ONE week! And this week I lost another 1 kilo (2.2 pds)!!! So guess what that means, I am now in the 130's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yahoo 138.2 to be exact! (62.8 kilos) Girls, I am getting there! It feels slowly but it is happening!

:director: "130's don't get used to me being there it will be a fleeting visit beacuse look out 120's HERE I COME!!!"

Amy - you can do it! Keep that belly dancing! Remember that baby dancing is a great form of exercise too! LOL! Though maybe just the dancing bit and not the baby!

Jessica & Heather - stick with it! We will all get there. It will take lots of hard work but the results will be well worth it! GET MOVING GIRLS!

Alisa - BACK AWAK FROM THE M&M'S!!! Tell DH not to offer you the junk. Or you could be a big meanie like me and just not allow the junk food in the house!!! For me if it is in the house then I eat it so I just tell DH he can eat the crap somewhere else! I am such a meanie!!! But it helps his waist line as well!

So, I don't mean to jump in with this crazy thing, however, just thought I would pass it along. My mom bought this stuff and loves it. It helps your cravings so she said she is eating much healthier because she doesn't crave anything and it helps your appetite as well. A pharmacist on her message board takes the Desert Burn one which is more expensive but says both are safe and work. I'm going to let her finish her first bottle before I dip in but it's the cravings that get me so this would be perfect I think!

Yahoo for me! Just got back from my WW meeting and I lost another 1.4 kilos! That's 3 pds! In total I have lost a little over 10pds! Yahoo for me!

I now weigh 61.4 kilos, that's 135 pounds! I am getting there girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amy if I can look as good as you after three kids I will be ecstatic!!! Keep up the great work!

Oh and is it true that you never actually regain your own shape? I have been trying to get into my pre-prego jeans, they are still too tight (I can do them up though) but I actually only have about 3 pds to go before I am at the weight I was when pg and I know 3 pounds wont be enough to make them fit! What's the deal? I will be despondent if I can't get into them again! They have been my goal item of clothing since I had max! They are my "skinny" jeans! The "muffin" top that I have going on at the moment is scary! Am I stuck like this forever???

I know exactly how you feel. I can get into all my preprego clothes but it doesn't look to great with the skin hang over! I would be at least 2 sizes lower if I didn't have the saggy belly. I hate to tell you, but the more kids the more skin! Oh well, my bikini modeling days are over!!!! LOL.
