Okay so I don't mean to butt in, but Sarah, you had me laughing with your post about a muffin top. 1st thing I can think of is the Seinfeld episode where they get rid of all the muffin stumps, ha. Then, my mother recently decided that she has a muffin top and it made me laugh when she said it for I had never heard it before.
Lastly I have to say that you definately do not have a muffin top!!! You are 135 lbs, WTG!!!

I SUCK! I got down to 139, then DH and I went away for a weekend and now I'm back AGAIN at 141. And we leave on vacation today.
So much for looking decent in a bathing suit THis sucks.
Oh well. I found my old WW book and points calculator. I think I'm going to do that when I get back. Even though I wanted to look good by vacation and that didn't happen I'm most definately not giving up.

I hit a milestone today.... 159.5!!! Whoohooo! Only 7lbs to go to hit the weight I was when I found out I was preggo! And then... only 10 more after that to be my "normal" weight! HAha!
I finally went out and bought a new scale. My old one would tell me I was one weight and two seconds later tell me I was another weight. It was SO frustrating! I knew my scale was off by about 5lbs or so (as compared to my doctor's office), so I finally went out and bought a new one that keeps track of my daily weight and my BMI. I love it! Especially the fact that I lost 3lbs just purchasing it

I had WW today and I am down to 59.1 kilos (that's 130.2 pds!!!!!) I am so close to being in the 120's I can taste it!!! I was so surprised that I lost at all, I was sure I would have gained. We were away for a long w/e and I totally pigged out - it was quite ridiculous how much I ate. I think the key was that I still exercised while away and I went to the gym twice since we got back!
The best news is that my skinny jeans are now my normal jeans and I have put the fat jeans away! Once I loose a couple more pounds I am treating myself to a new pair of jeans! I actually weight less now than when I got pg!!!! (by about 2pds). My goal weight at the very start of this thread was 127 pounds so I am nearly there! I am so proud of myself!!!
If I can do it - you all can too! PUT AWAY THE JUNK FOOD!

I would LOVE to be in my skinny jeans - but they're still about 17lbs away. I have them hanging on my closet door for inspiration. Perhaps they would do better hanging on the fridge

OMG that is too funny!!! I had mine in the front of my closet and I would try them on every few weeks or so. In the beginning I couldn't even get them over my thighs (soooo depressing) but slowly I saw progress! I truly never thought I would get into them so Alisa you CAN DO IT!! C'mon girl, I am cheering you on!!! I look forward to reading about your progress each week and let me know if you ever need a butt kicking!!!

OK, I'm offically back on the "get healthy" boat.
I wasn't feeling good last week, like my bp was up. Oh boy, was it. I took my bp with my machine...133/96. I called the doc ASAP. At her office it was 135/100.
Needless to say, I'm on meds But it was just the wake up call I need! I'm not sure on what plan I'll use, but I am starting to treadmill since it is so freaking hot outside.
Please wish me luck. I need all the "stick to it" vibes you can spare!

And good luck Kris, Sorry to hear about the BP but maybe after you lose some wieght you can get off the meds again? But maybe it's just genetics too.
I have been gaining and losing the same 5 pounds for the last several months. It's driving me insane but I'm not doing much so I don't know why I expect anything more.
I checked out spark people again and found out exactly what I SHOULD be eating to reach my goal.
I am STILL about 7 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight and ideally would like to lose 15-20 total.
So I'm going to be jumping back on the bandwagon AGAIN too. Ughhh, so sick of feeling FAT!
well I havent been exercising in forever but I have been eating decent. I am down about 2.5lbs from when I was last on this thread. I am PRAYING to lose all I can in the next 3 weeks. I did take the girls for a walk last night (about a mile), and man it sure is more of a workout pushing a double stroller. LOL tonight dh and I start using the bowflex we got like a month ago and \havent touched!
I haven't posted to this thread in forever either, but I've been back on the weightloss/get healthy bandwagon too. I'm only 3.5 pounds above my pre-preggo weight now, but DEFINITELY bigger than I was at that weight, thanks to not working out. I've been walking at least 5 days a week for the last couple weeks and yesterday I went for a run, which I hadn't done in about a year and a half. I think I went about 2-3 miles. It felt SOOO good! I now have a goal of running at least 3 times a week. This flabby belly has got to go--it's SO gross! I've been trying to eat healthier too--more fruits and veggies and less junky snacks. Hopefully I can stick with it!
How are you all coming along - Kris, Heather, Jessica, Ellen???? Any progress in your "get healthy" goals??
I hit 143 today! WoooHooo! Only 3 more lbs to my goal weight. I'm so excited. I'm going back to work on Monday and am actually going back weighing about 10lbs less then when I got preggo with Jake. Which is about how much I weighed when I started working at RBC. I gained 15lbs when I started working there because I'm not as "active" at work - no lugging boxes of documents up and down stairs and to and from court houses.
My biggest news is that I can fit into my old "skinny" work clothes too! I did, of course, buy lots of new "skinny" clothes for going to work in. I feel like a whole new woman. I have to say that gaining all this weight and losing it all has given me a new perspective on what it means to be fat. I always thought I was fat at 140lbs, and now when I see old pictures of myself I'm like "wow - I was skinny". Too bad it took hitting 206 for me to feel that way!!
Man Alisa, I couldn't have said it any better! You and I are in the same boat! I weigh just over 140 too (I know my scale is off a few pounds according to my dad, but it says about 138 when I step on it so I'm guessing I'm around 142-143) and that's the smallest I've been in a long time! I'm 5'9 too, so that's not a bad weight for me, but when I look back at old pictures before I had Brynn (or right after) I feel like 140, 143...waht's the difference? ha... The wierd thing about it all is that I haven't done a THING! I just hope it all falls off after the 2nd one! haha...
you guys are sooooooo lucky! LOL I guess it's my own fault but I really need to get my (big) butt in gear! I am sooooooooooo miserable with how I look. Just went shopping tonight for some new clothes. uh yea that didnt go good. so depressing. 20lbs is my first goal. that will be what I weighed when I got preggo with Brianna and I was pretty damn happy there. then I have 20 more to go after that in the long run. the first 20lbs is VITAL though. next week I am kicking it into high gear!
been awhile since we all posted here................. Wanted to say that I have been doing GREAT and starting to feel better too! I have been going to the gym 6 days a week for the last wwek and a half. LOL but I am going and Iwill KEEP going. And I do scupting at home and abs every day. the scale isnt showing much but I can tell a difference in inches. by Christmas I will be one hot mamma!
still going good! I only have 2 more days till we go out to dinner for my bday (which is tomorrow! yikes!). I have a pair of pants that I could wear a couple weeks ago but they were PAINFULLY tight across my stomach when I sat down, so I'm PRAYING those fit good on friday. Everyone cross those fingers!

I go to a trainer once a week and walk at home on other days. I wish I could say I was consistant, but I can always think of 100 other things I should get done.
I'm going to be 29. :crybaby: I think this is the worst age EVER! turning 30 is going to be mroe tramatic for me than 40. I think of 20's as still young and fun, 30's are responsible and I feel like I should have accomplished more with my life. I want to stay in my 20's FOREVER!!!!!!!!!! LOL

HEY@ your bday is on sweetest day this year! I remember a couple years ago when mine was. I felt jipped! LOL My bday is always right around sweetest day and dh's bday is 3 days after valentines day so we both get jipped every year so it equals out. Isnt that funny?
I have never heard of Sweetest day? What holiday is that? Maybe I could swing a double gift this year? I have my eye on some wine glasses from Potterybarn! I guess shopping doesnt count as a wieght loss thread. I'm great with loosing money via shopping! LOL
sweetest day is the 3rd sat of october. dh calls it a 'hallmark holiday'. LOL I dont reember when it started but it's been awhile! you might want to drop the hint............ LOL
