Thread: 2 month checkup... Update

The babies had their check up and vaccinations Both did well with the needles. Bradley weighs 9lbs and 5 oz, 21.5 inches long and Kaylee is 7lbs 5 oz and 21 inches long. Bradley had his herniated belly button looked at and its turns out the doctor doesn't think that it will correct itself so we have to have it surgically corrected My poor baby, I don't even want to think about it. We meet with the surgeon next thrus. so we'll know more then. I am assuming that they won't do the surgery until he is a certain weight.

Did anyone else have this issue with pervious children?

Update:We had our appt today and it looks like we are avoiding surgery...for now. We have to go back when he is 1 and she'll check it again.

I'm glad that the babies are doing well aside from the belly button issue. So sorry you have to deal with that! I haven't dealt with it myself so I have no words of wisdom there. Hope it goes well- let us know what the surgeon says.

BF is going amazing. They are 100% BF now, I haven't supplemented in about 3 weeks. I still have to get a hang of the tandum feeds but other then that, they are doing great. How about you?

Its great! I did have a case of mastitis and an abscess last week which was AWFUL, but otherwise no issues. I often tandem feed them and have from day 1, which I think helps. We dont supplement, but I am considering topping them off with some formula at bedtime in hopes of more then 3 hrs of sleep @ a time!

Glad the twins are doing well. Sorry about the herniated bellly. Brandon had to have surgery for a hernia (he was 2) and it was scary but he did great. Hope everything goes well.
