Well....what can I say? Basically the same ole stuff. BP was good. Gained a few more pounds but he didn't say anything about my weight. Cervix is still closed. I declined the HIV test today so I'm sure that will stir up stink when I deliver. Although I passed my glucose test last time, I had 4+ sugar in my urine today. So, he gave me a script for some test strips for my machine so my insurance will help with it. I have to start testing my sugars fasting and usually about 2 hrs after I eat. I'm going to try to keep a food journal with it so we can relate it to something. Also, we tested my iron today. It was 10.8 which is a little on the low side. I figured it would be low though because I have been eating ice quite a bit. Mostly at work, but I would eat it at home if it was the right kind. So, I also get to start taking an iron supplement. I stopped taking my PNV a while back because I couldn't stand being so constipated all the time. I will start back on those also I guess. I go back again in 2 wks.

Well yay for a good bp and a closed cervix. Sorry about the low iron and the sugars in the urine. I've been very lucky with my prenatals this time around...they are very gentle. They are prescription though and there's no generic so I pay $20 a month for them which sucks, but I guess it's worth it. I didn't even know I had an option to opt out of the HIV test. They do it at the beginning of pregnancy with all the other bloodwork so I never even noticed. I don't usually decline the tests though, but it's interesting to see how differently things are done from place to place.

Seems like a good appointment! Sorry about the sugars, though. I had to take an iron supplement when I was pregnant with DD. This time, my iron has been great, probably because I've been craving red meat! Lol! I've been absolutely terrible about taking my prenatals... I can never remember. Glad everything is going well... can you believe how far along we are?!

I can't believe it! I'm excited though! I really don't like being pregnant so I'm ready for it to be over with. I'm almost to the miserable point now already.
