51 old Wives Tales.

I was just browsing the net and came across this site, which I thought a bit neat. Some of the wives tales are bizzar and make absolutely no sense, as the writer says, but I thought some were kind of comical, too. Thought I'd share with you ladies. Alot of these actually lead me to say girl too, and I AM having one. I like when things like this are true. Coincidence, sure, but kinda neat to say "well that wives tale was right" lol.

Old wives tales are funny. Almost all the old wives tales hinted towards girl with this one but I knew it was a boy and I was right.

Funny story, when I was pg with Brandon there was a lunar eclipse. My grandmother (from Mexico) called me hysterical and said I couldn't go outside because the eclipse would cause the baby to be deformed. She was literally crying and wouldn't let me off the phone until I promised her I would stay inside all night. I love my grandmother but she has some crazy superstitions, lol.

OMG! That totally reminded me of when my sis was pregnant with my youngest niece. Something lunar happened, and BIL and his family (also from Mexico) tried keeping her inside and I don't quite remember what exactly she had to do with her underwear...something like paperclips or safety pins. It was supposed to protect the baby. I was pregnant with DS at the time and just remember thinking they were insane, and that I would never paperclip/safety pin my chonies. LOL!
