Anyone buy any outfits yet?

So on Saturday we picked up a cute little dress for baby girl. It's a Carter's size 0-3 months. Looks big but then, it looks little. It's well layered so the bottom part is warm, and I could always find a cute little sweater or something to cover her arms. I'm hoping I last full term and she's big enough for it, and she can wear it home, weather providing. Hailey was 3 weeks early and even size NEWBORN was too big in some cases!

Anyways, here's a pic of the dress. Share any outfits you've bought, or your most favourite!

I just went through the stuff I've bought over time, and laughed when I found the same outfit twice! I got it at two different stores and didn't even notice it was the same until it came time to wash everything lol! I have a going home outfit (maybe... i might change my mind a thousand times between now and then!) and a few other frog-themed outfits I couldn't resist.

This is the outfit I got 2 of lol!

Oh yes... I've bought a few things. I have her coming home outfit, some size newborn sleepers, and a few misc. things as well... like a clearance swimsuit for next summer. Wink I'll have to go take some pics in a bit.

I've bought quite a few outfits, including his coming home outfit. I really shouldn't be buying so much since I have a lot of clothes from Brandon, but when I started going through my tubs I realized I didn't keep as many clothes from 0-9 months, I just kept my favorites. After that I started keeping everything so we're set for 12 months and up. Also, Brandon was born in May so we have some seasonal issues that prevent us from using some of the clothes. I haven't gone overboard but I've bought quite a bit already.

This is his "coming home" outfit. I had to order it because Carter's decided to change their stock and I couldn't find it in his size anymore.

These are a few of the other outfits I've purchased:

Here are a few of my fav outfits. Like Lenora, I realized we will have some of the same seasonal issues as DD1 was born in March and Selah will be in September... complete opposites on the seasonal calendar.

DH picked this out. It will be too big for this winter, but I can't wait for her to wear it the following winter.

We also needed some new newborn size clothes as I borrowed a bunch of outfits from a friend last time around.

This is her homecoming outfit... I'm still deciding between the sleeper in this picture and the romper in the next picture... it will really depend upon her size.

The blanket and such to match the homecoming outfit. Wink

DD1 and Selah will have matching pjs! These are Selah's. Smile

Her swimsuit for next summer.

Zebra shirt for next summer... I'm really hoping zebras becomes her signature animal.

Christina... DS's nursery was all froggy stuff and we had several frog outfits for him. Cute ones you got there!

Cute outfits!!
All I've really bought is a coming home outfit (probably! Lol I'm starting to waver a bit on it) and a little sweater/pants set I found on clearance. I was pleasantly surprised that most of DS1's stuff is season appropriate for this LO too. I guess maybe that's the advantage of living somewhere where you usually need to wear warm clothes 9 months of the year? Even for summer I bought DS1 warm clothes because we have the occasional cool day and then for camping. So the only thing I anticipate we might need is 12 month summer clothes for next year if he's that big for summer

I have bought I lonely 0-3 month sleeper, in yellow! Not knowing the sex has prevented me from buying anything. I haven't even gone through H's stuff yet to pull out the little gender-neutral stuff. Heck, its all still in the storage locker!

I just love that blue/brown dress Katie! If I were having a girl I'd totally be after you to make me one just like it Wink

Awww everyone has such cute outfits! I'm doubting baby girl will be able to wear the dress we picked up, but we could probably just reuse Hailey's outfit we brought her home in, unless of course I find something absolutely adorable that I simply can't resist buying . Plus never know what might come from the gift exchange, maybe even get something there that could work, too!

Love the adorable outfits posted thus far! Keep the pics coming!

I finally went through DD's stuff (I saved everything, plus we got more hand-me-downs from SIL since then) to sort it, since I was only half-organized as I put it away the first time.

I now have a giant bin of clothes in each size from newborn to 2T, and a lot of the stuff works for boy or girl. Helped me realize I have zero need to go shopping for clothes!

I have bought a bunch of outfits. Not sure which is my favorite. DH has put me on time out from buying clothes. I need to start on diapers and stuff.

Omg, Melissa if my hubby put me on time out from clothes buying I would die LOL. Heather was born in December and Hailey in May, so we do realize alot of the stuff may not ever get used again, however if I still happen to find something cute I"m gona buy it, it's too hard not to!

Emily, same thing, even if I had tons I still would be out buying this or that haha! Girls are too hard to resist buying more stuff for!

I put myself on a buying freeze but all of a sudden yesterday I got an urge to go baby shopping. I think that will be my weekend activity!

As for outfits. I actually picked up one but I don't know what it is like (still in the package). I have had a store credit for about a year and was tired of carrying it around with me!

This LO's coming home outfit will be the same as the one I took DD home it. I love the thought of both of them coming home the same (it is gender neutral and I spent quite a bit on it).

I haven't bought anything yet. We have a ton of clothes 6m and bigger from DD1 and DD2but not a lot of 0-3 stuff. Most of what we had from the girls was thrown away because of gross formula/spit-up stains that would not come out.
This one will be our first to be in 0-3 during the winter time. All of the clothes in the stores now are spring/summer which will not work when there is 1-2 feet of snow outside and negative temps. So, I have to wait until the fall/winter stuff starts appearing on the shelves.

If you were to look in this baby's closet you would think she was all set, because it is full of clothes. But they range from newborn all the way to 18 months, because the majority of it all has been bought clearance. She actually has more 12 month clothes than any other size because I have been finding summer clearance stuff for next year. My mom has also bought at least 1/4 of the stuff in there maybe more. She loves buying baby clothes too!

I haven't bought a coming home outfit yet, but I have some gymbucks that start July 14th, from when I went on a shopping spree in their clearance section, so I might look for her a coming home outfit from there.

I am so excited to be having a girl because I don't have hand-me-downs this time, so I don't feel guilty shopping for her! For Mason I always feel guilty buying him much clothes because I have so many hand me downs and then my mom still buys him new clothes so he has a closet full of clothes without me buying anything.

I couldn't imagine not knowing the sex, because I have to do all this shopping to have something to do while I wait for baby to arrive! I am already getting anxious to start washing clothes, but since she is still 12 weeks away, I am going to wait until at least August after my baby shower.

Erin, their online site is great for ordering and I live pretty far from BabyGap so don't always get a chance to go. If you order over $50 worth it's free shipping... I ordered and they had it shipped to my house next day with Fedex!!

With 10-20 diaper changes a day the first little while I don't want to deal with all the buttons and clasps, a gown is so much easier because they get so mad when you change them Smile

So far, I have only purchased the coming home/hospital photo outfits.

and

Yesterday, MIL came home with THIS:
It's soo cute! It has ruffles on the butt! Biggrin

I'm like Meghan. Not knowing the gender has kept me from buying anything.

Such cute clothes.

I'm with Sally on the gowns. Gowns are so nice to have especially for late-night changes. I have about fifteen gowns from Brandon and many of the outfits I bought convert to gowns when you undo the snaps. Lifesaver.

This thread made me go into shoping overload yesterday!

I bought all the things I showed on the Old Navy Canadian sale thread and then I went after work and bought these:

I also bought a bunch of outfits off eBay last night!

Finally went and took pictures
Here's the only things I've bought so far (sorry they are all wrinkly, they were sitting in a shopping bag, haven't washed any of the new stuff yet)
The middle one is the probable going home outfit, I want to take another look at the stores pretty soon Smile and see if I can find something I like more

and then I just washed and folded all of the newborn/preemie boy stuff we have so I figured I'd take a picture of that too

I really don't feel very on top of things Lol I still need to pick up the 'dresser' we're using for baby's things. Which is just going to be one of those plastic cart things with drawers. Then I want to wash and sort the cloth diapers and I still need to make more wipes and buy another wet bag....lots to do yet. I still want to make more newborn fitted diapers too but we'll see. I have enough between the fitteds and prefolds, I just don't care for prefolds
