Baby Movement

If you have felt any movement, how low does you LO appear to be sitting? I finally felt some significant movement on Saturday night. I was pretty surprised, since I really hadn't felt much yet. Once in awhile I knew I was feeling something, but it was always sooo sporadic. Then on Saturday night, while I was laying in bed I really felt some good kicks. I could actually feel them with my hand. My DF said he had put his hand to feel the baby after I fell asleep, and he felt it kicking as well.

The baby feels like its really low. The kicks were so low, I almost feel that if the baby gets any bigger its foot is gonna pop out. I don't remember my son feeling this low until a few weeks before he was due. I am gonna ask the dr on Wednesday if this is normal. I have even noticed that once in awhile I have had some pain down there. Well I realized this weekend, that its the baby moving around. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing or is it just me?

i feel all my baby kicks REALLY low too. When i had my gender scan, the babies feet were down by my cervix. i just last nite felt the baby kicks with my hand. that was so exciting! she is going crazy this morning too, probably cause it took me so long to feed her LOL i also have a little bit of pain too, that i am chalking up to baby movement, now that i know we are both feeling it Smile

same here. Cervix hits (or kicks) are not enjoyable... especially this early. *sigh*

The movement I feel is mostly up a little higher (but not too much) than what you're describing, but then it periodically feels like he is using my bladder as a punching bag. It's normal to feel baby low. A lot of it depends how they're positioned at that particular moment.

All of my the kicks I feel are pretty low too, this LO has been low pretty much the whole time so far (based on where we've found the heartbeat). My oldest was low the whole time too.

I've been feeling baby pretty low but I know my uterus isn't all that high yet so I'm assuming that's why.

I also have felt the baby moving low, and always on the sides. Today at the dr the ultrasound showed that the baby is hanging out in the back, so what I figure is the baby will stretch out to one side or the other and thats when I feel the movement, but most of the time is hanging out closer to my spine.

I am really not feeling anything yet....... perhaps it is because I have a retroverted uterus??

Although, it would make sense at this point to feel the baby lower. I know when the doc listens with the doppler, she always has it resting pretty low on my belly...

I feel hits/kicks in my bladder or cervix too. Also which ever baby is on the left is definately more active then the one on the right. Yesterday I did feel some movement around my belly button too!

Patty- this is what my doc always told me and I never feel the baby early on... Just learned to live with it!

NOTHING- and my sis who is almost exactly the same far along- she can feel the baby do the tango if she eats jalepenos! I could eat a whole jar and end up with nothing but heartburn!

And this is the way it's always been for me- you'd think after one or two babies, you'd at least be able to feel movement sooner- but nope, not me!

Not feeling much here either. So of course it freaks me out. I feel a kick or two on my bladder every once in a while.

I don't get kicks often but this morning I did feel baby kick on the outside, maybe 3 times. Got all excited but my dh wouldn't wake up :-? to try and feel. This is actually later than I was feeling #3 on the outside, I remember about 20 weeks I could put the remote on my belly and watch him bounce it around with his kicks. Most of his kicks have been really low, near my pubic bone but today's were a little higher up. About half-way between my pubic bone and belly button off to the right a little

I have finally felt some movement...but not much. I'm not too worried, I'm actually happy because with DD she started kicking really early - like 13 weeks, and she continued to kick my practically 24 hours a day until she was born. She's still a firecracker now - maybe this means this baby will be more mellow? Smile That's what I'm hoping.

I am experiencing the exact same thing. My first two boys were always kicking about an inch above my belly button, this baby is kicking like 2 inches below my belly button every time. I think he is probably sitting up right, not head down.
