Bath time battles

Is anyone else dealing with bath time battle? Andrew wants to try and stand up the entire bath time. He is not good at standing yet so he tries to pull himself up then he slips in the water and its a whole ordeal. I spend the entire bath time wrestling him! I feel like it would be easier on me if I just got in there with him but then he would try to pull himself up on me the entire time! I'm about to just take him at the in the yard everynight and hose him down ; )

We have a tub seat, it keeps Evie from slipping and sliding around. She's still not figured out that she could pull herself up on things other than the crib, so I guess I'm lucky still. Smile

We were doing ok...until tonight. We use hammocks and had had no problem until Brad decided to roll off of his tonight. Luckily I was in the process of getting them out and the water was already pretty much drained but I still think we'll have to find another way. I'm thinking a seat like Janelle mentioned.

So far baths haven't been an issue, but every single diaper change has become a major wrestling match. It's making me crazy.

How would showering be? One of my friends did that. She showered with him once he could stand. I think at the beginning she put something down so it wasn't so slippy.

We use a tub seat in the kitchen sink so he doesn't try to stand up. He really likes his bath, he's always splashing and kicking at the water stream, and he has his toys which keep him occupied. His favorite is this set of stacking cups which Brandon also loved.

The last two days I have started bathing them in the kitchen sink and they love it, Brad especially. It makes a mess but its so cute to see them sitting there. I find it much easier as well.

I used to do that with DD. It was a lot easier on my back. The sink at our new house is smaller, so I haven't tried it with Ronan.
