So I need opinions on names. Wont know babys sex till next week. Im hoping for a girl, but will love another son as well too. Me and my fiance have chosen a girl name, the boy name not so much. I think his boy pick is a little outlandish. just need some feed back ladies
Girl: Marley Niani W. Biggrin
Boy: Da'Vinci Christopher W.

Help please, he will not let up about the first name, if you think you have a middle name that fits better, let me know. I just threw Christopher in there because I do think it fits, but he hasnt said anything about a middle name, he just knows the first name must be Da'Vinci.....
HELP!?

I like your girl name, very cute. As for your boy name, it's not really my style, but Christopher flows nicely with it. I think it's important that you BOTH be comfortable with your name choice, so if you're not toally gung-ho for the name, then maybe you two can discuss it a bit more before you make any firm decisions. DH and I had a hard time agreeing on a name but in the end we found a name that we both loved. Good luck.

Have you asked him why he is so bent on Da'Vinci? Dh and I have an agreement that if one of us dislikes a name, no matter if the other loves it, it is not going to be used. Aside from that, is he at least willing to compromise with you, since you dislike it? Such as calling him by his middle name or using his initials (D.C. If you used Christopher, or perhaps D.J. If you used a J name like James, or even D.V.)?

Off topic, but I see you putting your info in the top of your post. If you would like a signature (under the line with our info and tickers in our posts) you can go to user cp at the top of the page and make a signature there. It'll automatically be on every post you make unless you check the box to take it off. I didn't know if you knew that or not, so I thought I'd mention it.

We are having issues picking out a name also. I broke down and bought a book today though. This may actually make it harder. Do some research on names online. You can pick different styles. I'm sure you will both find something you agree on. It just may take time.

Being a middle school teacher I see what kids that are given uncommon names go thru. Honestly with the first name Da'Vinci its probably not going to go over to well in school. Kids have a hard enough time fitting in as it is. Maybe you might want to bring that up to your husband. Besides that I also feel that ithe child's.name needs to be agreed upon by both of you. If you don't like a name you will never feel comfortable with. It. Has your husband given you a reason why he is set on that name? does it have meaning behind it or is it a name he just likes? Luckily you have lots of time still to figure this out. KUP
