Default Big Baby and Big OUCH

So I had my second NST yesterday. Baby did great and once again my contraction line stayed completely flat. I had my appt. with the doctor I don't like and he did nothing to alleviate my concerns. Still no decision as of yet, but I want to talk more with my regular OB first. They measured my belly and I am measuring 37 weeks (I just turned 33 weeks). Normally I wouldn't be concerned but my growth scan last week also showed him to be measuring large so I am a little worried about his size. At this point I feel like there are so many obstacles to me having my VBAC that I may just go with the CS...like I said I want to talk to my OB about it instead of "the other guy."

So I have this crappy bacterial infection down there. I waited too long to have them check it because all week I've been miserable. The first two nights I couldn't even insert the medicine it hurt so much. I also started having some urinary symptoms I attributed to the infection since I knew they tested my urine at the OB office. Well last night I was in horrible pain. I must have gone like 20 times and hardly anything was coming out and it hurt like hell. I was in tears last night the pain was so bad. Luckily I had one of those home testing kits for UTIs. I took one and it came back positive for leukocytes which means you may have a UTI. I took another one this morning which was also positive so I called the OB. They had me come in to recheck my urine and I do indeed have a UTI on top of the bacterial infection. It also doesn't help when you have a baby pressing on your bladder either. I now have Keflex so hopefully that will kill whatever germs I've got going on.

I'm sorry things are still up in the air with your delivery, and that you didn't get to talk to your regular OB today. That stinks about the infection and UTI. I hope the medicine works better and you feel better soon!

I hope the medicine starts working and your uti clears up. Im sorry things arent going the way you would like.. Im still crossing my fingers that you are able to have your vbac.
Hopefully you will get a chance to have a good talk to your dr about what is the best plan.

Ouch! I hope the medicine kicks in quick!

I hope you're able to come to a decision about your c/s - feeling like things are up in the air is the worst!

Ouch! Are you feeling better? I am sorry you are struggling so much with the delivery options. Why is babe measuring so large? You haven't developed GD have you?

Brandon also measured a bit large. 5lbs. 14oz. is pretty big for 34 weeks. No GD here, I passed my test with flying colors (my numbers were actually on the lower side) and my urine hasn't shown any signs of problems. He feels big though, it's quite clear he has no room in there, he feels so scrunched.

I am definitely feeling better now thankfully. Two infections down there was just a bit much, lol.
