bought the bassinet!

we borrowed a friends last time, but she lent it to someone who lent it to someone w/o her knowing and who knows where it's at now
so we bought this one..

the selling point to me was the incline positioner. DD has reflux and as an infant it was aweful. after each feeding we had to keep her elevated for 30mins after which usually meant holding her(no real complaint there) though when a bfing would last 30mins then we'd hold her for 30more mins there wasn't much time between feedings to do much else for awhile. so we figured the incline would be an awesome option should we need it this time. the incline does come out to use it as a normal bassinet.
this is the first thing we have really bought cuz we have alot still from DD. I've checked the dates on the car seats so we're fine there. just gotta get out the tub of newborn clothes and take inventory of what we need this time Smile

Great idea with the incline! My nephew had a lot of GI issues, and I remember them talking about propping the mattress with books at one end, etc. Built-in incline seems a lot simpler. Wink

Are you ridiculously excited to go through Jocelyn's baby clothes? That's one thing I'm looking forward to here.

I can't wait to get the clothes out. We moved jocelyn to her big girl room in feb including a new dresser and bed. So we don't even need to shop for a crib or dresser, which is kinda a bummer but still money we don't gave to spend. So getting the clothes out will be very exciting for me.

The only other thing I want to buy is a double stroller and maybe a swing

How nice is that! DD2 had reflux and it was awful, she pretty much lived in her swing when I wasn't holding her. She's been my only reflux baby so far ***knock on wood***

Cute bassinet, and I like the incline option. I also cant' wait to start going through Brandon's old clothes. He has some really cute newborn things that I can't wait to pull out and use again.

That looks like a great bassinet!

My first outgrew his bassinet before he was 2 months old, so we didn't get one with our 2nd. We did, however, get a bedside mini co-sleeper that fit through our door frames and was on wheels. I used it as a bassinet instead. But it does not have an incline.
