Chiropractor and Contractions.

Anyone else who goes to a chiropractor notice more cramping and BH after getting adjusted? My chiro doesn't have a collapsible bed or one with the hole for the belly... I just got adjusted today cause my lower back has been spasming, and I left with my back still stiff and sore and now I'm cramping and having more BH. This happened last time I went as well. Oh, and he did not have me on my belly at all this time. Last time he ran the massager on my lower back while I was on my belly so I thought it was that.....

I'm beginning to wonder if I should skip the chiro......

I wouldn't go back to that one for sure, it sounds like he is doing something wrong. I don't know if you saw him when you weren't pregnant, but I like to go to a chiro that specifically understands pregnancy.

Otherwise I'd look into yoga instead.

I've gone to him for years. My mom works for him. I'm so torn. Plus I don't have insurance that covers chiropractic care right now and they aren't billing me.

Something doesn't sound right to me. I see one, as a matter of fact I was there today and I never leave stiff or having contractions. She does have a belly table and specializes in pregnancy. That's how I think I got pg...she also did accupuncture on me. It sucks ur insurance doesn't cover it cause I'd say switch but honestly I might just stop going sounds to me you may not want to chance it. He's not doing something right. It's taken me 4 chiropractors to find this one who I love and actually makes a difference.
