Evie's check up

Evie had her *almost* 9 month check up today (she'll be 9 months on the 29th).

She weighs 17lbs 9 oz, and is 27.5 inches long (though I could have sworn she was that long a WHILE ago and I just had to raise her excersaucer, so I don't trust that number).

She got the 2nd part of her flu shot today. Great timing on that one, cause Daniel (3) had the flu all weekend and Jacob (8 ) started in on a fever this morning. *sigh*

We are supposed to go visit Great Gramma this weekend because Jacob has a 3 day weekend from school (Memorial Day). I am hoping we are all well so we can go. Great Gramma (93) does NOT need a flu.

So that's that. Smile

Sounds like a good appointment! I hope the boys get will quickly and that no one else in the family gets the flu!

Hope your boys feel better soon, and that Evie doesn't get sick!

Well, after dealing the boys being sick for 5 days straight (each), then better for a day and then hit again... 2 weeks of sick kiddos. The secondary infections pretty much set my thinking right. I'm way more confident that I was right and the doc was wrong. They had the flu. Jacob finally went back to school today. I'm hoping he had a good day. His poor lungs were just killing him all weekend. The walk-in clinic I took him to on Friday gave him a Z-Pack and I gave him a single hit off his asthma inhaler every 4 hours or so.

Evie... never caught it. And neither did DH or myself. All three of us had flu shots this year. The boys, did not. We kept meaning to do it and then it just seemed like we made it through the season without one. Well, we did.. it's technically LATE for flu.. but I think it WAS flu. *sigh*

Oh, and DH came back from his weekend hiking/camping trip with food poisoning. He came home a day early and almost had to have me come pick him up cause he was sooooo very badly hit by it. So now, Jacob's at school and I have to take care of DH.

I love my life. Lol
