Nicole and sweet baby Kailey have been weighing heavily on my mind this week. Lenora mentioned that on a previous BB in a similar situation, the ladies worked together to make a quilt for the grieving momma. Each person made a square and mailed it to one person, who put it all together.
Do we have interest in doing something like that? If so, would anyone be willing to be the putter-together?
Also, for those of us who are not crafty-minded, perhaps someone could explain how one would make a quilt square?
I'm also working on a way to get donations going. I'll keep you posted on that. For now, the best option I can come up with is to link you directly to the March of Dimes website. If you feel so led, you can make a donation in memory of Kailey Nicole.
I wish I knew how to put quilts together. I'd do it, but I don't. But I do like the idea!!!

Great idea! I am with anything we come up with although I don't know how to quilt I would definitely make a donation towards anything else. I'll keep posted on what is decided.

That is a great idea, I really want to learn to quilt but I'm afraid to commit to it also. I just don't know when I'd have time to learn, put it together and finish it. Hopefully we have someone who is more experienced on the board.
