Thread: Hi! Small Update

Hi all!

Thalia and I are doing really well. She's had a lot of firsts in the last two months, turning from front to back and back to front, crawling, sitting up, standing up on her own in the crib and playpen. Two places where I think she's lagging is teething, although they itch her no teeth have sprouted yet and she's going on 9 months on the 1st. Also she does not sleep all night, she wakes up every 4 hours to eat. I'm so overjoyed with my little one and could not have asked for more. I've basically been a stay at home mom since March 23 and it's a wonderful feeling to have my LO all to myself. Just wanted to give you a small update on us. I really don't log on much but I am keeping in touch with the updates now and then. I love hearing about the LO's and their progress.

Thalia is NOT behind with teeth. Babies teeth at different speeds. Evie is 9 months on the 29th and has no teeth as well. And as for sleeping all night..... I laugh at the possibility. There is no such thing here. Evie wakes ever 2-3 hours, so Thalia is ahead of us by at LEAST an hour.

That's reassuring. They are growing too fast!

One thing my DH keeps saying. The longer they stay down, the healthier they will be. I'm not sure how much water that statement holds, but as long as they stay down, I don't have to worry about brushing them.

Glad to hear you are both doing well. It sounds like she's doing great. Babies get teeth at different times so you shouldn't be concerned at all about that...it sounds like she's right on track.

Good to hear from you! Glad you guys are doing well . I agree- I wouldn't worry about teething. It's totally normal for those first teeth to come any time in the first year. My best friend's son didn't get his first tooth until right before his first birthday. They say the teeth stay healthier if they wait longer to come in.
