I am cranky.

That pretty much sums it up!

Saw my OB yesterday, I was still a fingertip and long...sigh. All those contractions with no progress. She stretched me to a "good 2 and a half", holy crap that hurt! Didn't have a lot of bleeding after, I remember a lot more last time. Had contractions on and off all evening. Felt more sore, lower abdomen and crotch region, with some achiness into my upper thighs. I feel like LO is lower, like every movement s/he makes pushes on my cervix.

I was up every hour on the hour last night, either to pee or cause I had a contraction. I did lose my plug overnight though! Went for a long walk today, but nothing happening. I'm tired. And cranky. And my DH is trying to get renovation work done, which means even though he is home its all me all the time as far as Hailey goes. She was up early this morning, so we lay on the couch and I let her watch tv while I dozed..then he gives me a hard time about letting her watch tv. Um, yeah, you were in bed dumb a$$, you don't get to give me crap about that. You don't want her watching tv when she's up over an hour early, then get yourself out of bed and entertain her.

Did I mention I'm cranky?

I think you have a good reason to be cranky. I hope it's not too much longer for you! Big hugs!!!

((((hugs))))

If it makes you feel any better, almost every morning the last couple weeks I get up with dd and she watches tv while I doze.

:yeahthat:
That was totally my last few (ok, several) weeks of pregnancy too. Thank goodness for Sesame Street on demand, which gave me almost an hour to doze!

Hang in there Meghan!

DH knows not to say anything about how much tv we are watching right now! I hope he starts to understand!

Actually that does make me feel better ladies! Less guilty for sure. H said to DH today "Mummy let Haydee watch teebee" very matter-of-factly lol.

I always tell new parents who feel guilty about something (co-sleeping, supplementing, baby sleeping in swing, whatever) that is all about survival at the beginning...I think that goes for the end of the pregnancy too! Whatever gets us through another day without me killing someone.

Amen! Survival and sanity!
