In L&D

Had another midwife appt today, they were encouraging delivery soon due to the diabetes and the fact that I'm flirting with preeclampsia symptoms.

So, I'm doing a foley bulb induction.

Ouch is all I have to say. Will update as I can

Good luck!!! Hope to hear soon that the little one is here!

Our of curiosity, why foley induction? We don't do many of those here any more. Whats the intention? Use the bulb to dilate you enough, then rupture? Intention to try to avoid pit?

ELV's!!! Good luck!

Meghan- I believe the foley bulb is an alternative to a prostaglandin to ripen the cervix. With a VBAC, it's usually the best option.

Like Mandi, I also thought I missed the announcement when I saw you posted in the other thread. Sorry you ended up with a c-section but it seems like it was a much better experience for you this time around. Congrats and can't wait to hear more details.
