Late Dopplar Purchase

Can you tell I'm bored at work today...lol...been on here twice already.

I've been throwing this around a lot but I think I'm going to purchase a dopplar tonight when I get home. everyone kept telling to not waste the money and hold off cause I'd be feeling baby in a few weeks. But I have an anterior placenta and yes I do feel him if I concentrate very hard but it is not as often as I would like. I'm full of anxiety about this whole pregnancy anyway and I feel that just being able to hear the heartbeat before I go to bed at night will help me to sleep better. Maybe I'm crazy but if it gets me thru the next 4 months it will be worth it.

I say, whatever makes you feel better. I had one with Coby and it was a really cheap one and it didn't work well so I barely used it. I'm not even messing with it this time.

Cheryl you do what you want, but I will say that in the next couple weeks you are going to really feel that baby start to move! Anterior placenta or not, its not going to be much longer before he is keeping you up at night! LOL

I have one and I say do it! If it's going to make you feel better, then why not? Earlier on it brought on a bit of anxiety as I "lost" the hb for a few days but I'm so far along now that I get it in less than 3 minutes.

I bought a sonoline B when i hit 11 weeks. took me time to hear LO thanks to MY anterior placenta, but now she comes in loud and clear! best $58.99 i ever spent. i am feeling her little by little, mostly when she kicks my girly parts, but i still very much enjoy listening to her, especially when she is moving around and kicking the dopplar! she definately performs for her daddy more than she does for me though ;)...well worth the investment! and your not crazy, nothing better than hearing your child whenever you want Smile

I love my doppler! I will continue to use it even after feeling the baby move, because nothing is as beautiful as the sound of that heart beating away in there. I love it.
