Movement ?

So I have been feeling movement since 12 wks. Last week the movements began to get really intense and strong! However, I noticed this weekend that I am not feeling much movement. I actually started to get concerned, but I am feeling some little taps and bumps, but not often and nothing really strong. I hate having an uneasy feeling... I go to the OB and Wed and I am sure that everything is ok since I am feeling something, but it just seems so odd to be going backwards with movement. I wish the girls would just decide to party in there for a few mins just to make me feel better Sad

I always have active days and slower days it bothers me but I remember that with Hayleigh as well which keeps me from panicing. Maybe you have a couple of mellow little girls in there!

Thanks for replying Erin. The babies have been really active so that is my only true concern, but at the same time I know that I should not be freaking out because I can feel somehing, but I can't help it. I've even tried to eat more sugar then normal and had some soda too, but nothing is working. Oh well, hopefully today they will remind me that they are there Smile

Everyone has days when they're tired and want to take it easy... maybe they wore themselves out! Seriously though, I doubt that they're going backwards. I think it's normal to not experience the same amount of activity every day. I definitely have days with this one where I barely notice that he's there, and others where I wish he'd stop kicking me so hard!

I've always been told that when they are going through growth spurts they get a little more 'quiet', which makes sense. Maybe your girls are just doing a lot of growing right now. Plus, with two of them maybe they are getting crowded already.

I think it's normal for them to have more/less active days. As long as they're moving I wouldn't worry too much. This baby definitely has days where he's more reserved and days where he is bouncing around like crazy.

Thanks ladies! Its hard not to worry... I really thought that by this point I would be alot more calm, but this 'quietness' has really bothered me. I'm sure that the movements will pick back up and I have been feeling some bladder kicks this am.

I was wondering about that as well! Every week I read about aby's growth. On one of the sites, it said that the baby will put on 1/2 a pound this week  growth spurt for Mom as well i assume!

Yay! Why would you ever feel sorry about a post like this? It is what we are here for girl!

I was wondering Erin, what does movement with twins feel like and how can you tell who is who?

The girls are side by side. Baby A is on the left and she is breech so she often kicks my bladder/cervix and she also has an anterior placenta, but I still can feel her punch but its more on my left side, I feel her more then the other. Baby B is on the right she is heads down, but she is the calmer of the 2. I feel her moving on my right side, but not as much/often... she is already squished by her sister. Biggrin
