I think I am inthe early stages of nesting. EVERYWHERE I LOOK in my house I find the smallest things that need to be done. Granted, a few things needed to be done, like dusting the ceiling fans(there are 10 in my house. No, really, one in every room),That was the task of the week this week. I think if I choose one task a day for the next couple days my house will be spotless in no time. Right?
I wanted to share a couple things with you all!!! One of my friends on FB posted pics of her little boys in the bathtub, with glowsticks!!! GENIOUS!!!! She Turned the lights off and let them have fun with the glow sticks. She got the idea from this website:
There are some really cool ideas on there. Bookmark it, start using it now, For those of you who are first time moms, look at those play rooms. I wish I had found that site long before I set up this house. Hmmm, I might just reserve one end of the sewing room and designate it a play room. It is definitely big enough for it. I love the organization. Wish I could retrain my brain to be THAT organized. What happened to me??? Anyone willing to share ideas???
In other news, I am going to share with you some of the things I have been working on. I have a big order of 12 sandwich/snack bags to work on in the CUTEST fabric!!!! The cutting will begin today/tonight for those. I'll post pics when they are complete. But anyway here is the latest:
FREEZER POP SLEEVES
For the boys
For the girls
MUG RUGS(aka a coaster on steroids. Big enough to hold your coffee/tea/drink cup and a small snack!!!)
The first one, I made for my mom. It didn't turn out how I envisioned it in my head, but, it's ok. She loves it.
This one was just a 'pattern' I did on my own. Came out cute. I still need to work on the corners. The fabric is leftover from a quilt that my MIL used for quilts for the twins(but never finished because she got sick.)
Whew, what a novel this turned out to be.
