Ok , so here is my nursery bedding:
I am going to go with a nice pretty shade of yellow (trying to match THIS color, but i cant find it) anywho, DH and i cant decide on the carpet. and we are going to order it tomorrow! i want to go witha lighter beige/cream, he wants to go with a rosey color..the furniture is all espresso. while i dont have the glider yet, i think its gonna be espresso base and creme colored padding.
Please help! what are your thoughts? i will never claim to be good at interior design LOL
Oh, and what color curtains do you think would be good in there???
Thanks in advance
I can see how the rosey color would look great with the bedding for now, but what about when the baby is older. Are you going to want to replace the carpet again? I would go with a tanish color. Somthing that will hide some dirt but not be too dark.
If I was putting in carpet, I would definitely go with a neutral carpet that wouldn't have to be replaced again when she outgrows the nursery/toddler room. But I wouldn't really want a cream carpet because I would be afraid of stains showing too easily. So I would probably go with tannish/brownish carpet too.
But if I could I would be ripping up the carpet in our nursery and putting in laminate or hardwood flooring with a nice pretty rug!
I would go with a neutral color for the carpet, like a beige. I think the rosy carpet would look ok but if you are going to paint the walls yellow it might be a bit much. Also I agree that it might look good now, but if you ever change the bedding it may not work.
I think you could go with a nice light pink color for the curtains for a little pop.

super cute bedding! i agree with a beige carpet, that way you can keep if for 10 years and no matter what her taste you don't have to worry about changing it! As for the curtain color, itwould be cute to find something that will go with the other colors in the bedding, like the pinks/greens.
