I've finally come to a place where I'll be ok if we have another. Dh is more prepared than I am. I'm not on b/c but there was never a need to prevent pregnancy as I'm still bleeding. So I'm not sure if a third baby would even happen at this point (totally feeling like the woman in the bible who bled for 12 years and touched Jesus' robe to be healed).
I would love to be TTC and we have decided on going for a third in awhile....
Our main hurdles are:
1. Cost of daycare. Currently we are at almost $3K/month. I think we want to wait until DD1 is in grade 1 and has only after school care to worry about. Financially I think we'd be better off with a nanny at that point but I like the interaction with other kids at daycare and I have more confidence of the TV level so I'm not sure.
2. My first 2 were on Canadian mat leave where I had a year off. My USA job now gives 8 weeksOur goal is for us to return to Canada and have me get a new job long enough to qualify. However, I am getting old (36) so I may quit my job when I have #3 and just start looking for a new job after the baby would be out of the infant room.
Basically we are looking at TTC early 2014. I can't wait but I also can't imagine being pregnant with as tired as I currently feel![]()
DD1 July 2008 (41w3d)
November 2010 (13 weeks)
DD2 August 2011 (33w5d)
Updated to here!
Beth, when's your EDD? I know it's early, but will you be finding out sex or going team green?
As much as I adore babies and LOVE being pregnant, we are done. I had my tubes tied and I am at peace watching my family mature. I will just have to live thru all of you!!
