Recovery takes it's toll

So, yes.. I'm still bleeding a little. It's at the end... not very much, brown in color.. but it keeps dragging on. That's not my problem, though.

My problem is muscle related... and NOT reproductive muscles, either!

So on Thursday I helped my mom write things on the wall of her church in preparation for painting.... Friday afternoon my forearm started hurting. By Saturday I could hardly use it without being in pain and I had great difficulty nursing and burping Evie, let alone eating and drinking. Anything that involved bringing my hand to my body HURT!!! On and off all day Saturday, I iced it and took ibuprophen (the 800 mg pills from post natal), massaged it and elevated it. Saturday night DH massaged it more intensely :ouch:

Sunday my arm was feeling much better. Monday it was pretty much back to normal. So then what happens??? I hurt my ankle. Doing nothing other than squatting down to the floor to look for something in the bottom drawer of my night stand. I don't think my foot was sideways or anything. But.. now it's swollen and I can't walk properly, can't navigate my steps heading out the door without THINKING about what I'm doing, and it's my driving ankle, so I'm not going anywhere that isn't close by.

I just can't win. Anyone else dealing with such pathetic issues??

Aw! I'm still bleeding, and I am super klutzy (dropped the same piece of trash 4 times when attempting to throw it away this morning, then dropped a fork 10 seconds later) but I haven't had the muscle issues! Sad

still bleeding here, it tappered off to just spotting about a week ago so I thought for sure it'd be done by now but it's still going. Just spotting and just enough where I need a pantyliner...annoying! I can't complain too much though since with my first two I was bleeding the full 6 weeks+
Sorry you are having some muscle issues. I'm actually feeling pretty great, though nervous for when I start exercising again since those last few weeks of pregnancy I had to stop exercising and basically sit around all day...I can tell I lost a lot of muscle so I'm going to have to remind myself not to push too hard.

I'm still bleeding too. I had stopped for several days, but then it started up again. It is spotty, but its there. Hoping it stops by Thursday, its my 10 year wedding anniversary!

I'm not having muscle issues, but I am having issues with random swelling...eyes, lips and hands. Its something called angioedema, others in my family have it, but not me. Upon researching its related to pregnancy Sad Thankfully its not all the time, but its annoying! I hope it resolves soon!

I hate to say it but I am feeling pretty good. I have all but stopped bleeding and I am 2 pounds below prepreg weight.

If I could just sleep...

I finally stopped bleeding but I'm.having muscle issues. I keep dropping things as well I feel so stupid lol. My issue is I got TMJ from the pregnancy so my jaw pops and hurts SO bad I cant eat sometimes. I tried doing some exercising the other day but started hurting in the uterus area so.I must not be healed yet.

Sorry to hear about the muscle issues.

After I had thyroid surgery I had a lot of muscle weakness and I remember taking a vitamin that helped quite a bit. I think it was calcium, but I'm not quite sure. Hope it gets better for you soon.

I'm still spotting and having brown discharge. It's so irritating!

Hope you get better!
