Should I go to L&D??? (upate at top)

Just got back from L&D. They had me on the monitor for an hour and her heart rate was great. and of course she was super active the entire time  they picked up 3 or 4 very small contx but thats it. They also sent me to diagnostics and my fluid levels are still high so they are not worried about any leaks or anything. so it's back to business as usual and I have a follow up appointment on Thursday. Glad to be home because I was no where near ready for her to come!

So i wanted to get some opinions of people in my same boat (not my mom or dh, lol)

This morning I took a good fall in the kitchen. the stupid fridge was leaking and i didn't see it before i walked in. Stepped in the huge puddle of water on the tile foor and down i went  thankfully I landed on my side and my wrist. my wrist took most of the blow and is really sore. My hip and thigh are sore but the brusing isn't to bad. But it was the worst fall i've had in a really long time and it totally freaked me out.

anyway, I called my OB and he just said that I should go to L&D "If i feel I need to be monitored." The baby is moving well, not crazy but enough to make me feel kinda ok. then the other side of me starts doing the "what if something really is wrong" thing and I'm not sure If I should go in or not. DH is on his way home to hang with DS just incase but I need some input. Would you go in if it were you??

I would do a kick count asap. Then if the results are low or even borderline, I would head in right away.

Hope you are ok! that sounds like a nasty fall!

This... Do a kick count and see how often baby is moving. If it were me at this point, I think I would go in just for peace of mind.

I agree on kick count, and keep an eye on your panties for extra discharge. Of course, if dh and parents are hammering you to get checked out, it may just be worth going in to keep them quiet.

I decided to go in. I had some weird twinges and didn't want to regret not going for something. Im hooked up now and baby sounds fine. Picking up faint contractions but nothing to get excited about Sad
