Six weeks today!

I can't believe we're at the six week mark already! And Ronan is gigantic! DD was so small for her age, that it's totally weird to me to have a baby in the 90th percentile (or close to it). It's especially weird since they were the same birth weight.

Anyway, we are doing pretty well. Last night was rough, but the three nights before that were the best we've had so far. Hopefully they weren't a fluke! This is my second week on my own with the kids. For the most part it's going well, but I've definitely had my moments of getting overwhelmed, and losing patience with DD. But we're figuring things out. I don't know how you ladies who have more than two do it! I have my six week check up with my midwife on Friday. I'm looking forward to getting the okay to exercise! I'm still having some soreness/tenderness at the episiotomy site... no idea if that's normal or not, but it's not that bad, so I don't think there's anything wrong. Well, that's our update. I need to remember to take more pictures of my little man!

I have the opposite experience- DD1 was at the top of or off the charts for most of the first year, and DD2 is closer to 50-75%. She's growing just fine, but I keep marveling at how tiny she is! Blum 3

Hope nighttimes continue to go well!

yay for 6 weeks!! It definitely feels good to exercise again, I've only been at it 2 weeks now and I can already see results which helps too!
Isaiah was born bigger than my other babies and although all my babies have gotten pretty big pretty quick he's definitely just HUGE compared to my others with that 2lb headstart Lol I'm pretty sure he'll be into 3-6 month clothes by the end of the month!

The time goes by very quickly. Glad to hear Ronan is growing so well. I'm really nervous about being on my own too. My parents are leaving tomorrow and then I'm on my own and I'm barely almost 2 weeks pp. I am very grateful for all the help we had but im so scared for some reason at the thought of being on my own. We would have had more help but he was late and both of our parents are going to Hawaii this week so they can't stay. My mom has been crying because she feels so bad, lol. I wish Chris could have taken more time off (he only took a week of paternity leave), but he's very busy at work. I'm also full-time pumping which is so time-consuming, especially with two little ones and no sleep. I hope things go well for you this week.
