stomach cramps :(

So last night I had quite a bit of bloating and gassy cramps. I blamed it on my dinner (steak with baked potato and a salad).

This morning I woke up to diarrhea with no cramps. And now I have intestinal cramping with no diarrhea and it's not comfortable. Makes me kinda nauseated even.

If this is the start of labor I want it to just start already! If not... go away! I don't like these cramps. I have a chiropractor appointment this afternoon and I'd rather not have to cancel for something OTHER than labor.

You know I'm having the same thing today. I've been constipated the past few days but last night I started feeling nauseated and still am today along with cramps and diarrhea, together though, not seperate. I want at least 2 more weeks so I'm hoping it's nothing to do with labor. Watch for contractions and I hope you feel better soon!

I have been crampy as well with loose bowels. It is always worse in he morning and at night.

I blame it on poor management of my laxatives...

hope you feel better!

I feel like this is deja vu because I had the same exact symptoms a couple of days before my water broke with DS and then I read later on that your body actually cleanses itself before you go into labor. Sounds like you may be holding your LO pretty soon! Smile

Could be the start of labor. I have had stomach problems in the mornings though as well. I figured it was just due to all my organs being turned upside down and baby putting pressure down there.

Hope there is a good reason for all the tummy problems!

It's possible that labour could be around the corner. You're term tomorrow so i say anything is possible! KUP on how you're feeling, you just might be the next mommy holding their LO Smile

It could be the start of something... or it might just be bad food. How are you feeling now?

Holy moly...everyone needs to stop talking about being full term and holding LOs!!! I'm not ready!!!!

Nell, first off your dinner sounds delish, and now I want a steak. But I hope either things calm down, or seriously pick up! KUP!

Well, I had a little bit more bathroom production and the cramping eased off a bit. I went to my chiro appointment. It was a chiro I've never seen before but he has the collapsible bed (or something like that) where the midsection dropped with the weight of my belly.

I barely felt the adjustment, but by golly did I feel the improvement in my hips! My sciatic was being pinched cause my saccharin (sit bones) was out. He told me to ice my left buttocks for 20 minutes every hour for 2-3 hours and go for a 20 minute walk every evening and then do some hamstring stretches he showed me to do.

He said his goal was not to put me in labor (told me how his wife begged him for adjustments at the end of her pregnancy in hopes of starting labor) but that if it did get things moving, more power to me considering I'm term tomorrow.

Baby has been moving like mad since I left the chiro's office I guess it likes having my lower back in alignment. LOL

But I've not had any more intestinal cramping since I went to the chiro.

I'll probably go a bit longer, but would be happy if it were to start good tonight. Wink

Gosh, I hope things ease up, sounds like they are. yipee!! I'm sorry to sound stupid but what does term mean, like 37 weeks?

AFM, I've had cramping (menstrual like) since even before the third trimester, also I've had loose stools almost throughout the entire pregnancy, I've probably complained of constipation once. I don't know what that means but I hope it's not a bad sign.

Term is 37 weeks. It's the minimum gestation that my doc wants delivery to occur. Anything before that is preterm and usually requires at least a NICU check on the baby.

And I'm right there with you with having very very little constipation the whole pregnancy. I had my usual bm's the whole time (soft but not loose) up until a couple of weeks ago, then they went a little more loose, but today was def diarrhea.

It can all be normal, so don't worry about it unless it feels "wrong" to you or you start getting really dehydrated.

37 weeks! Can't wait to be there. I'm ready to have this baby anytime... Except for the hospital bag packing thing. Wink
