So, it is happening. I go in at 9:30 for the Essure procedure. Dh and I had a conversation last night regarding more children just to be sure we were on the same page. HE is DONE with having children. I am as well, although as I stated in another thread, I hate to do anything permanent . But, I also don't want to use hormones and well, condoms and family planning aren't always safe either. So, there aren't a whole lot of other options!![]()
I always thought I wanted 3 or 4 children, so I am happy with my 3. The fact that DH is done closes the deal. I wouldn't want to force him into having another child.
I continue to pray for peace with this and be certain that this is the right decision...so far I am feeling a little better about it as the day goes on......

((hugs)) to you. I'm glad you're feeling good about it, and that you and DH are pretty much on the same page. That alone is a tricky feat sometimes!

Hey girls,
Everything went well. From start to finish, I was there for about an hour. They numb my cervix and stick coils in both tubes. Scar tissue grows around the coils and causes it pretty much near impossible to conceive.
I go back in 3 months for an HSG where they will shoot dye in my tubes to make sure everything has scarred up. It was pretty painless actually. I hadnt been on valium before. That was kind of crazy. I felt like I had a bad buzz from 1 too many drinks!
Thanks for checking in, ladies. You are (all) the best!
