Who is still breastfeeding? Post a pic!!

Just wondering how many of us are still breastfeeding and how it's going? Markus is nursing really good, we had a few rough times and I definately found it more challenging to nurse after a csection than with a natural birth. I thought it would be nice to see breastfeeding pics if anyone wants to share?

I don't have any pictures I'd be willing to share... I've tried to get a few good ones, but I don't like any that I can get and DH isn't about to take one for me. But we are still exclusively breast feeding. She's had formula a couple of times (I don't have time to pump) but I'd say it's a total of 5 oz over the past month.

I'm pretty sure we have thrush again, though. She's got a diaper rash starting up unlike any that I've seen before (lots of tiny little red bumps like a heat rash) and my nips are sore and red and cracked again. But I can't see any white in her mouth.

we're still going too. No plans to stop anytime soon, definitely not before he's one. I don't have any pictures of me breastfeeding Isaiah

Still nursing here Smile We will go to at least his first bday. My sis, Blackmoon, is still nursing as well as pumping for work- I am so proud of her. Nursing at home can be hard, but I think pumping is so much harder and shows great dedication!

We are still BF'ing here. Won't wean for a long time. Went 13 months with DS and 14 1/2 months with DD1. I have a couple of pics, but not sure where they are at atm.

Still breastfeeding here, will continue till at least a year. BF'd Hailey for 16 months. I went back to work at 13 months and pu,ped while away and she basically gradually weaned herself over the next 3 months. Going back to work at a year this time, and full time (last time went back part time, have a different job now) so I hope to pump and still BF before and after work for at least a few more months.

I'm still pumping, does that count??? I've tried to go back to ebf several times but he is too lazy and would rather have the bottle. I still pump 7 times a day for 30 minutes and we are still supplementing because he's a little piggy, lol, but he gets about half from me.

OMG YES. It totally counts. Pumping is hard work

Yep, I am still bf the twins, but we have had to start to supplement w/ formula as the girls are peanuts! I do not plan on stopping anytime soon. I have bf all my children except #1 till well over 1 year.

I'm pumping for a couple of more weeks. I'm probably getting about 10 ounces a day, sadly. Supplements don't work for me. I'm taking thyroid and pituitary supplements hoping to make my body start working properly, but so far they not really helped in that area.

Argh, typed a reply but it got eaten.

The gist of it was yes, we are still breastfeeding.

I bf when I'm with her, and pump so I can send breastmilk to daycare. If they run out of what I send, they give her formula, but it's only been a few times they've needed to do that.

Ultimate goal is to pump till 1 year, and bf as long as she wants.

Next mini-goal is 6 months.

For those of you that are pumping and not having a lot of luck have you tried using a larger nipple shield?? I wasn't able to pump anything and then I bought bigger shields and wow is the milk ever coming out! I just pumped to see what I make and was getting frustrated when nothing was coming but I think a good pump/size of nipple shield makes a huge difference.

I have a lot more problems than a quick fix of the shield size. Plus, I've worked with a very good lactation consultant that fitted me for what I have.

Still are. I also have a large frozen stash built up during her NICU stay. I still pump once a day too. I find bottles easier when we are out because of DD1 but I do also NIP.

Around a year I will cut back to morning and evening and see how it goes from there Smile

Still going good here! The boys were the only ones that I was done bfing by now as I dried up. Heather I went 7 months, Hailey it was 8. I am well armed and prepared with bottles and formula though should I need it. I have a few cans of powder with long due dates and some of those ready mades as well that my nurse practitioner gave with good dates :). No pics here, I'm too shy for pics like that lol.

We are still nursing and pumping. i am still not producing enough to give her 100% breastmilk. i pump 2x at work, and again before bed. i nurse when she wakes in the middle of the night, in the morning and after work. i am pushing to pump and nurse til atleast 6 months, i would like to go longer, but the pumping is wearing me down. My original goal was 6 weeks, and we are still going at 4 1/2 months, so i cant complain too much Smile

We are still exclusively bf'ing. DD2 has never had a bottle. Around 6 months, this house is going to become a warzone though. DH is opposed to bf'ing past 6 months and I want dd2 to self-wean. I stopped bf'ing at 6months with dd1 b/c of supply issues and thrush, and dh was very happy with that. But I'm not having supply issues with this one (just my right boob is much larger than my left, both girls prefer it). I'm also really enjoying bf'ing this time around, I didn't enjoy it at all with dd1. I remember wondering what everyone was talking about with bonding during bf'ing. I get it this time. I don't want to give it up anytime soon.

Still exclusively BFing here. He's a great nurser! DD self-weaned at 12 months. I plan to go 12-15 months with Ronan. We'll just see how things go. He occasionally gets a bottle that I've pumped (like the couple of times we've left him with a babysitter), but mostly I nurse him. I'm thankful that both of my kids have been great nursers.

I'm no longer breastfeeding due to the meds I'm on. I must say I am so not happy about it and wish I could have continued. Also I have to be careful if/when I get pg again because of these meds. I'm on abilify and celexa.
