Working from home/partial bedrest

Okay - I am going insane. I'm not working from home pretty much full time and on partial bedrest. I'm going insane here by myself all day. Sitting on conference calls just doesn't replace human interaction.

HELP - any ideas to entertain myself so I don't go crazy.

I wish I had some advice for you but I love being at home! I started back at work last week (only 3 hours a day and just through the end of the month) but I'm exhausted and almost wish I wouldn't have agreed to go back this school year. I'm looking forward to when I can be home again! Honestly, I would say, enjoy the quiet and the down time while you have it because before you know it you'll be busy with those babies!

I had two kids at home so that kept me busy. We would play games/puzzles/read. Do you like to read? I got one and a half books down before the chaos. You could also invite a friend over. You could rent a tv series you have really been wanting to see. Bedrest is so hard!! I think it would be harder with nobody home. Although, I think I would have been better at it if I was alone! You are doing so awesome with your pregnancy especially since it's your first. Are you crafty? You could scrapbook your baby books?

Thanks - I love to read and have been. I'm not super crafty. I finished all my sewing projects and nursery stuff. I am just getting frustrated because I am hurting all the time now so cooking and some of the other things I really enjoy I just don't have the energy to do or the fortitude to stand in the kitchen. I'm just not allowed to drive. With this being my 1st pregnancy my doc keeps asking if I'm having contractions and i'm having periodic pain that goes across my back and my belly is always sore like my uterus has been working hard. I just dont' know if it's a contraction or Lucas and Olivia beating me up. They move so much and so hard I actually have to stop sometimes as it takes my breath away. Probably better I'm at home because everytime i took a deep breath at work everyone would jump to ask if I was in labor...

Anyway thanks a million for the input. Some friends are going to come visit this weekend. One more week and then i'm all over trying to get these LO's to come say hi.
