Baby Zachary will be here soon! So I went to the Dr yesterday and he informed me (which I knew from my first DS) that because I have GD he would not let him cook more then to the 39th week. He is performing weekly ultrasounds to monitor his grow and as of yesterday Zachary was weighing 6lbs 12 oz, lungs are good and right now he is practicing breathing. He told me he would probably try with in the next two weeks to get my labor started in office without having to induce with potocin (not sure on spelling). He of course is hoping that the baby decides first but I just realized Friday I will be 37 weeks so no more then two weeks for me to go. I'm excited and a little frightened since that means a new procedure for me. My DS broke my water and the contractions were killer, meanwhile my DD was late and they induced and i never felt any pain. However, I'm not sure of what exactly he is planning to do that would possibly start my labor. Any of you ladies know?
Yeah I have heard about the membranes and another friend said something about rounding the cervix. I have no clue but I have heard it hurts Maybe this LO will decide to come on his own before 39 weeks like his brother did. I do know I'm feeling a lot of pressure now, have more contractions and my lower abdomen and back feel like I have been in a fight so who knows maybe he is preparing for the next couple weeks...
I hope baby decides on his own to come. Sweeping the membrane is all I could think of. I have severe pressure. I can't even lay in bed. The doctor mentioned maybe I would go in early, I doubt it all of mine are always late. I hope everything works out for you!!!
I had one early and one late so no clue how this is going to go. I'm with you on the pressure. Oddly enough it feels I have lost control of my body, my legs are wobbly, my hips and lower back hurt like heck, I pee all the time (tmi...among other bathroom activities), I'm tired, have acid reflux, Braxton Hicks and my face even broke out. I don't know why my body has decided to go so crazy and have everything hit at once but I'm hoping its going to calm down at least a llittle before birth!
