It's August!

OMG! I can't believe it's August already! We are officially due NEXT month! How is everyone feeling?
As for me, I'm feeling a bit off. I'm almost 33 weeks and the last few days I've been feeling pretty crampy and having lots of Braxton hicks. This is all new to me as DD was a scheduled c sec due to breech presentation and I never went into labor nor felt any real contractions or Braxton hicks for that matter. Luckily baby boy is head down now so I'm hoping things are going to work out for a vbac! But part of me is a little nervous this little guy is going to try and make an early appearance. Anyone else feeling crampy?

Yeah!!!! It's August! I am 33 weeks and day and I have been having braxton hicks for months now, but they have become more intense the last few weeks. Lil miss is head down too and I am praying that she comes on her due date or a little before. All of my children have been late with the last one due on April 13 and not coming until the 22nd. I am so happy that things are moving along and if everything goes as planned we will all be holding our little ones soon.

Yes, I think I will go early. Had to go to L&D last night because I was sick since Thursday after my little DD got sick. I spent all day in the ED then had my 32 week appointment. Well I must have picked up a virus because I was sick as a dog Friday. Should have called out of work sat but I went in and got really sick. The ED won't see pregnant women past 20 weeks so up to L&D I went. She was doing great thank goodness. So whatever affected me, wasn't touching her. After a nice IV, I was told to rest and eat and drink.

Glad everything turned out alright! Get better soon.

So excited and nervous at the same time. I've been thinking I'll go early too. I just hope to make it to Sept. I've been having BH for months too. Some days are worse than others. Yest evening I had 4 or 5 in an hr, but then they stopped until around 10 when I had one or two before bed. None that I've noticed so far today.

Glad you're feeling better Hopingfor1again.

I too have been getting BH's for months now, but they are getting more and more intense. Not painful, but strong enough for me to have to slow down with whatever I'm doing. I'm getting them more on the days that I work in theatre though. Only 2 more shifts left!!! YAY.

With my DS I never had Braxton Hicks and he was 8 days early, with my DD I started having them as of 18 weeks and she was 5 days late and had to be induced. This go round I started having them around 13 weeks!!! So I'm not sure what this baby will do according to my history he might be late but it always make me feel he will be early cause I cramp daily and have so many contractions. By the the way the Braxton Hicks do seem to make labor easier since you have been dealing with contractions awhile they just aren't any fun and wear you out Sad The Dr says my LO is in position, developing properly, has plenty of fluid and my cervix is long so everything is good, I just wish the Braxton Hicks would calm down already!!
