So a little background on me and DH: we are total advocates of breastfeeding (DD self weaned a month before 2), baby wearing, cosleeping, etc. Not that I think this is the only way to parent, but it's the way we are choosing to. Anyhoo, DD has been sleeping with us pretty much since birth. Over the weekend we converted her crib to a toddler bed. DD got to pick out her new sheets and last night she slept the whole night in it! We don't practice the "cry it out" method of sleeping and I knew that when she was ready she would show us. Well, she went to sleep peacefully and slept through the night in her big girl bed last night! I'm so proud of her. She is getting so big! Thanks for letting me share!
