Waiting to O...........

After a 39 day annovulatory cycle, I finally got AF today. I'm so happy to be starting over with a clean slate and will NOT be taking soy isoflavones this month. :violent2:

My bday is 9/5 and I would happily share. If I O around my "usual" time, I would be due in early Sept. Who's with me?!?

I'm with you!!

I'll be getting my implanon out on Friday, the 23rd. AF is due right around then, but who knows how my body will react. Regardless, I JUST noticed that there will be a Friday the 13th in September and got super excited. That would be my dream due date. I know you can't choose, and I have no idea how long it may take before I see 2 lines, but I can dream. I was born on a Friday the 13th and its just been "my special day" since I was little. And since my 1st and 2nd babies were born on the 13th minute of the hour, how cool if the next one somehow incorporated my lucky number in his or her birthday as well.

Do I sound crazy? We aren't even technically trying yet and I'm picking out my ideal due date!

I am waiting to AF, so I can begin to wait to O. lol. We are technically planning on waiting til Jan to go gung ho about TTC, but I'm okay with dropping the BC and possibly JLIH this next cycle. I think it would put me due the first week of Sept.

I hated TTC the first two times, so I'm hoping it doesn't take too long! My DD's really want a little brother or sister. Smile

Anyone using OPK's or charting?

I've been charting for 7 years, so I'm all over that. And I have used OPK's before, I should get some.

Thanks! A while back I wanted to trim down my siggie while I was inactive on the boards. I thought it was a nice saying. Biggrin I should get my siggie back up though!

Hi, I'm board straddling. Depending on when I O I could potentially end up with an August or a September EDD. This will be our second month ttc after losses earlier this year.

I had a really strange cycle this past month so I'm hoping to be closer to normal this month. I chart and have used opks in the past but not recently.

I am straddling the month too... Not sure when this cycle will end. So I'm just popping around. And still hoping at some point I will move forward Smile

Shadow, i'm so sorry about your losses.

Now I want to see the quote too! Wink

Well hello September. If I get knocked up this month Bubble would be due right around hubby's birthday seeing as af decided to run late this month. Ds is also a September birthday, but he is at the end of the month. Maybe I am destined to have a family full of September birthdays to send me broke that month.

Hi all! I'm officially popping in here now. I have provera from my appt today to bring on a new cycle. So. Estimated CD 1 is between Dec 10-20, and if that all works out i could be due in late september. Even if odds are small I'm going to stick around here for a bit! Smile

How bad is it that I am looking for a boy name for this yet to be conceived baby. We had DS's name before he was conceived but no name for a girl, this time we have a girls name picked (left over from DS). But no boy name. I am tossing a few around and might run one by hubby. Ordering more opks tonight as well, they have some good deals on ebay right now and I ran out last month

Doesn't sound bad at all to me! I'm always wanting to talk about this stuff with my dh but he's really cautious on getting our hopes up. Lol i think he's scared to jinx us!

Hubby doesn't want to discuss boy names, he says it's pointless as he knows we are having a girl next

Haha. This week DH doesn't even want to mention ttc as he is having cold feet (a few of our friends are pregnant and two are being completely hormonally irrational 24/7 and their husbands have been complaining to my DH). Nice timing as we should start bding in next few days. I'm sure he will calm down soon, they just scared him a bit I think. He should know though as he has BTDT.

Hubby is all for TTC, he is even ok with my EDD being his birthday if I fall pregnant this month. I really hope I do because how sweet would it be for hubby to have a Daddy's girl born on his birthday. Both hubby and DS are convinced the next baby is a girl, Ronin tells his day care all the time he is getting a baby sister soon.

That's so sweet! Its so nice your little guy is excited! I haven't ever told mine we are trying. I wanted to have it actually happen first so i had a due date and all. They will be super thrilled. Actually, outside of here about four people at all know we're trying. I thought it would be a fun surprise at first, but then as time passed i just really didn't want the questions and comments. Like aren't you pregnant yet? Or when well you have your baby? Lol

I haven't told him we are trying either, he's 2 so that wouldn't mean much to him. He is just that set on having a baby sister. Some of his classmates at day care have had babies born over the past few months and I think some of that is where the baby sister has come from. They all put balls under their shirts and say they are having babies

I feel like I am going to O early this month and catch an egg (lol), as I did not O at all last month. But we shall see. Even if it's officially in August, I think it'll be really late August and still a straddle. I don't really care whether I do or don't this month - no urgency - as so much is going on in Dec! Sounds stupid, right? I still log on here out of habit but I have so much to do around the house!

Shocked I got crosshairs.... I am thinking my temps are all wrong as I have been waking up like an hour before temp time and then falling back asleep, then recording the temps upon normal wake up. Guess I'll find out soon....

I have my OPK's and HPT's ordered. Right at the moment, I feel a little relaxed about the whole process, but I'm sure that will change closer to O time. I am starting to think if this doesn't happen soon, I may just stop trying. I never wanted the kids to be "too" far apart, and 3.5 years is further than I'd ever thought they'd be. Time will tell, I suppose.

I'm the same Veronica, 3 years is more than I ever wanted, sadly because I had a c section and idiot doctors at my local hospital who said I could not even attempt a vbac without two years between pregnancies I had to wait. Now I am hearing around that they are telling most people they are too high risk to birth here and have to go to the next town and do not arrange transport, so if that is the case it will either be a csection (because apparently those aren't too high risk) or an unassisted home birth as my hubby doesn't drive and our only other option is call my Mum to transport me which makes it a minimum of 3 hours before I would get to a hospital (hour and a half drive each way) so that being the case it could end up an unassisted car birth.

Hello everyone. I thought I would timidly set foot in here and introduce myself. My name is Kathleen. I have a 4year old boy and a three year old girl. I had the mirena removed October 17th. It didn't work out to well for us last month. I am not sure what is going on with my body right now so I have no idea when I will O. I do have some opks and I temp so just a matter of waiting. Good luck to everyone.

Hey ladies. Started AF today so we are now on cycle 12 and going to start my second round of clomid this cycle. I am beyond frustrated that TTC has taken us this long this go around, but I still have hope that I'll get a BFP soon. Good luck to all of you!

I should O in the next 4 or so days if things are back to the usual. At this time of year I am rarely home in the evenings though and by the time I get home DH keeps being asleep.

Because last cycle was special FF has given me three predicted most fertile days and three predicted ovulation days. I guess at this stage all next week is go time.
Is anyone planning on testing Christmas day?

Hey everyone, hope you don't mind if I join!

I'm on CD1 and should O around Christmas, very convenient because both DH and I are off from Dec 20th to Jan 2nd! If I O when predicted, EDD would be right around my birthday in late September. That would be the absolute best birthday gift Smile Although I've already gotten to know a few of you from the August board, I'm looking forward to getting to know the rest of you!

I always just set myself up to think it's a negative so a positive is just a bonus. I'm just hoping Santa thinks a bfp is a good present for me. I mean I will have to not drink when I put up a damn swingset on my own anyway so it had better be worth it, because that thing looks like a pain to put together

Lucky! lol We always THINK that presents like a bike or a scooter sound like an awesome idea on christmas. But our christmas in central new york is NOT the time to try them out!! lol It would be awesome to do a swingset for christmas! (except the putting together part. lol that sounds hard!!)

Hi again Jessica! Lots of luck for you this month! A baby on your birthday would be pretty awesome Smile

Yeah hubby will be working Christmas eve so I will be all alone doing it. DS is getting a swing set and small trampoline so I have both to set up while still aiming for some sleep as I have to drive the next day. It would be awesome to announce that day, but we don't announce until either a dating scan or after 12 weeks. I may even be more cautious this time as I had a serious bleed at 12 weeks last time which the doctor declared a threatened miscarriage until after a scan after telling selected family at 8 weeks

I haven't got a positive opk or temp rise yet so if I did get preggo this month it would be an early sept EDD based on conception.

If AF hasn't arrived I'll be testing a day or so before christmas. I don't think I would wait to test as I don't want to get my hopes up on christmas day for no reason.

That said, between my meetings, christmas functions and work and DH being on call and working nights we are like ships passing in the night. Not a whole lot of BDing going on here so we might miss our chance this month all together.

I just don't remember what you've posted before (I'm sorry!). Have you been to get an hsg or try clomid or anything yet? Any known issues? If you don't mind me asking...

Tried Clomid for 4 months. No one in my area to do an HSG. No known issues and was once told everything looks "fine." I feel like I am having a major pity party because I don't feel well and I just went through this 2 weeks ago I don't want to suffer again, once a month works just fine for me Sad I keep telling myself that it's okay...maybe next month will be my month but I just don't think so. Obviously there is an issue or I wouldn't have had an annovulatory cycle last month and then have 2 periods within a 2 week span. It just makes me sick like I am wasting my time and energy...ugh, vent over.

:bigarmhug: I'm sorry that AF showed up early for you this cycle. I hope your cycles regulate this month for you and turns out with a BFP.

I was supposed to be on my second round of Clomid this cycle but had major cramping and bloating so my OB told me to stop taking it. My DH had an SA done yesterday so we should get those results next week. My insurance changes next month and will cover infertility treatments, so if we are not successful this month the natural way, I will be going to an RE that my doctor referred for me to hopefully find out what is going on. Now it's just the waiting game...feels like that's all I do!

Oh hun. I'm so sorry. I know how frustrating just waiting and waiting, and getting hopeful, then having it smash down. It's not fair at all. Maybe it's time you meet with your normal doctor or obgyn again and make a plan going forward. Then at least you'll feel like you have options when you are ready. Still sorry.
I started my cycle this morning too. Maybe we'll both head somewhere this time Smile

And good luck to you too Katey. Sorry that clomid wasn't good for you. Sad

Katey - I'm sorry the Clomid caused some issues for you hun. Hooray for good insurance that covers infertility though! Can't wait to hear about your RE appt. (If you're not successful this month, that is. I will keep my fingers tightly crossed for you to have a baby without the need of an RE.)
