    Default Rapid heartbeats and breathlessness......

2 mornings ago I woke up out of breath and my heart racing. Then last night I woke up at 1:30am and the same thing happened again so I went back to sleep when I felt somewhat normal but when I woke up this morning I was out of breath again and my heart racing. I felt like crap all day. I left work early and I called my doctors office and left a message....they never called me back which irritated me to no end. I am going to give them hell on Monday when I go in for my appt. They don't want to mess with this VERY hormonal woman. .

Anyways have any of you experienced this before?? This is really strange for 6wks 3 days of being pregnant.

Ha! Sorry, I have been travelling. You know, this happened to me with my last pregnancy, but not with this one yet. It was pretty early and I attributed it to my thyroid problems. Maybe get thyroid levels checked?????

Dehydration can cause those types of symptoms. I had really bad issues with my last pregnancy - I had hyperemesis & was chronically dehydrated for several months. My heart rhythm was out of whack. I still frequent have palpitations & get short of air. I'm on a low dose beta blocker for my heart rate & migraines now - and it helps tremendously with the fast heart rate & breathlessness. Did you get any answers?
