Waiting to O

Guess I'll get the party started over here. I'll be on my own this time as the clinic will be closed more than likely when I am due to ovulate . Considering my luck so far I think this will just be a holding month. We have one more IUI and then I guess it's IVF, the doctorhasn't given me a good indication on that though and it will be a few months so we can save up for both the procedure and drugs

I'm here too.

So dying of envy today. one friend just found out she's pregnant (our mutual friend Wendy), another just announced on FB that she's having twins and one of my best friends finds out the gender of her baby today. *sigh* I'm absolutely thrilled for all of them, just depressed/sad for myself.

I know how you feel Mel. I just got an Invite in the mail to a baby shower, from a friend of mine who was due a week after me before my miscarriage. With a note that says 'I really hope to see you there, you have to come!" I just don't know that I can do it.

Hi Ladies, I'll be joining you here Sad

Wendy - have you done 1 or 2 IUI's? (I haven't been posting lately, so I haven't kept up) Sucks that you can't do another one this month!

AFM - well last cycle was our first on injectibles, but only created 1 egg! Anyway - BFN and AF showed up, while on vacation! (luckily my bad mood only lasted 1 night, and I was better the next day, b/c I was surrounded by goof friends/family and sunshine and the beach!!) anyway, the 1 good thing that I took away was my luteal phase was 13 days this cycle! (it's only been between 11-12 the past 3 IUI cycles) and barely had any spotting beforehand! Now I don't know if it's the acupuncture, vitex, vitamin B-6, or combination of them all!

I go in to doc tomorrow for more bloodwork and US to see if I can do injectibles again with IUI...I'm going to ask them to "up" my dose since last cycle we only had 1 egg. (and I ovulate on my own, so why not get more "bang for your buck" when using these meds!)

Fingers crossed for everyone!!

oh yes ladies, can def relate to the friends telling you they are pregnant....I actually "quit" FB. One of the reasons b/c of so many people's announcement. I just couldn't take it. I too also just received an invite to baby shower for a friend. (who got married in May, and immediately got pregnant on their honeymoon!!!)

HUGS to everyone!! it WILL happen for us!!!! Smile

I'm not officially here, but not feeling super optimistic about staying in August. Mainly I'm not sure when I o'd - it was either CD 13 or 15. If CD13, we have a good chance. If CD15, there's little chance - we didn't DTD close enough.
Anyways, BFN this morning (AF is due Friday if I o'd on CD13) so it's likely a matter of time. :-s

I hear you Mel, I am so happy for that person, but yeah was very sad as well. I was at work otherwise I probably would have cried but it put me in a horrible spot emotionally and I got really cranky at my boss.

I'm sorry your here as well.

We just did our second, one more left and then they recalculate their plan of action so not sure what that will be, I think possibly IVF. Not sure that will be doable for us simply because of the time and cost involved, we have the money there but it is for other things. A Mum at DS's daycare had three iui's with the same clinic using frozen sperm and she never got pregnant, lucky for her while they discussed IVF she fell pregnant naturally.

Baby dust to everyone!!!

I'm not saying much, I don't want to jynx our chances, but hoping when I test tomorrow it's good news.

DTD was often then time around, and lots of fun (TMI sorry) there was no pressure and just happened Wink

I feel the same way, our caregiver for our 2dd's is expecting and I'm happy for her but it makes me want to cry knowing it's not me Sad

Good luck!

No sign of AF for me, but 2 x BFN is not a good sign, IMO. I'd like to blame it on them being cheap tests, but that feels like grasping at straws.

I've been gearing up for Christmas so less thinking about babies over here. that's a pretty good thing right now! I'm thinking of not temping this month and just going with the flow. can't hurt to try it that way right?!! LOL

Can't hurt to not temp. I have considered stopping, maybe next month with IUI if I get the time off because with IUI and progesterone temping tells me nothing.

I'm officially here - AF arrived this morning. Think I just messed up my dates last cycle and didn't DTD at the right time. Appt with specialist is January 6th, CD16, so I won't get much help for this cycle, but maybe this will be our month - I've always wanted a September baby!

Wendy, did you get the results from your bloodwork? If you were pregnant, did they say what they think could have happened, especially with being on progesterone?

I'm sorry AF has shown up for everyone. We just got hit with the stomach flu here, Luckily it didn't last very long. My kids are with their dad until Christmas Eve, feel's so strange not to have them around here.

It was a 2 on the Friday they did the test which counts as negative but they seem to think I probably implanted and lost quickly seeing as I was getting positive tests and the Hcg was just taking some time to come down. Also means i have very sensitive tests to be getting lines at that low a hcg.

Katie - I'm sorry. Sad hugs!

Wendy - those tests sound really sensitive, wow!

Jordan - must be very quiet without the kids!

I'm trying to calm down and relax this month about TTC. Had a Christmas party last night at our friends house. We had a good time and I had a couple glasses of wine. cleaning the house today for our guests ( my sister, dad etc.) that are coming for Christmas day.

Mel- It is crazy quiet here- I don't know what to do with myself. I could be wrapping gifts or picking up the place, but I threw my back out yesterday, and I have no idea how I did it. So, I'm trying to take it easy, we'll be picking them up tomorrow and I can't wait! We have a busy day tomorrow, have to make cookies for Santa, do our gingerbread house and then go over to the in-laws for Christmas Eve dinner and gifts.

Hope everyone has a great Holiday!

I'm here too. I was logged out and too lazy to re-log in (which in reality took 30 seconds). Lots of Christmas activities happening at our house, and still waiting for AF to finish, so no news on that front. Looking forward to a "romantic" New Years Eve Smile

Hi Ladies. Merry Christmas!

Well I'm out this month. Sad I went in on Friday for US and BW to see where my follicles were at. Two were 10 and 1 at 16. When in again next day a follicles hadn't grown at all, and BW didn't go up, so they decided to cancel the IUI cycle Sad I was totally bummed. I decided to call on Monday to have another US, just in case. but same results, the follicles had not grown. BUT I was having an LH surge, so I'm def ovulating, just a bad egg this cycle. So doc is going to up my meds for next cycle, in the hope to get better follicles (and more!) I guess the up side is that I can enjoy New Year's Eve - I think I'll have a few cocktails. Smile

I wish everyone the best of luck - here's to Christmas babies!!! Smile

I'm sorry Marie, but enjoy thokse cocktails. Hubby has his work Christmas oarty Christmas night and they had cocktails but I couldn't have any because I am on call for work and had DS to chase after anyway. Hubby's work keeps changing his roster, he wasn't supposed to start until lunch time today and ds was goi. To daycare so I was going to aim for nookie, but now he starts early so I am stuck with just cleaning the house. Now where am I going to fit all these Christmas presents ds got

So how are we all goimg? Busy with the post Christmas stuff. It's same old stuff here, just another of hoping this is it and thanks to Christmas movies having Mr 3 ask daily if it is snowing. Not likely in the middle of summer nor even in our mild winters

We made it through Christmas - had an enormous ice storm that knocked out power to much of our city - many spent Christmas in the dark. Luckily we only lost ours for 30 or so hours (and have family nearby to stay with that only lost theirs for 2).

I'm on CD9, anxiously waiting to o...and anxiously awaiting my specialist appointment on Jan 6th.

Your appointment will be herebefore you know it Julie, I hope you get answers quickly, or don't need it. My doctor told me they have a lot of people who comein for an initial consultation and then get pregnant.

I just got back from our beach holiday... Just unpacked the car and bags and straight back to reality. Not sure how my body is going to react to not sleeping in aircon as it has suddenly got disgustingly hot hot hot here.

We just had a snowstorm yesterday, now comes the arctic front and the temperature won't reach above 11 all week, Ice on everything and high wind this morning. Crossing fingers we don't lose power. Should O in the next few days. would be awesome to conceive on New years. : )

I used to live in Mount Isa, abive forty was common in summer, I jsed to hang my washing out at 6am and it was dry by 7am. Winter there was brutal, some weeks if it was raining it wouldn't get above ten degrees.

Just waiting to O, I got a positive opk up to Mobday morning so I am guessing today, so hopefully I will have a baby either conceived from my wedding anniversary or new years.

It was horrible, we stayed with friends too so that was fun Smile

I'm in the same boat julie, wonky cycles but I won't put a pass on the possibility of new years so it will be a fun night regardless Wink ;)

Our house is just now getting in order from xmas. I'm kind of glad it's over, anD kids return to daycare/school soon lol

hey all! Been so busy with Christmas and the aftermath that I haven't logged in here in a week I think! I did manage to take down all the Christmas decorations so my house feels semi normal at the moment!

anyway, it's been normal cold around here, so in the 20-30 F range. They are predicting a snow storm this week so we'll see. I honestly rather have snow than just bare ground but cold. At least the snow is exciting to play in and gives us something to do. DS is a bit crazy in the winter and we can't afford to go do many things unfortunately.

looking forward to new years eve tonight. We are doing one of those pop a balloon to find out the activity things with my kids. I think they will love it! DH joked that there better be balloons for him, one that has DTD in it! LMAO! So apparently I'll be DTD tonight too! Smile

That sounds like fun Mel! DH is working until 11 tonight, he'll get home around 11:30. Some friends decided to surprise us and come up from CT tonight, so we'll have some fun before DH gets home.

I haven't been doing OPK's as religiously as last month, usually once a day since CD 10, My temp dropped this morning, so I'm wondering if I missed my surge.. guess we'll see! Hope everyone has a great NYE, and Happy New Year!

I forgot to temp this morning, I actually don't even remember turning my temping alarm off at fjve am so I must have been tired. Pretty sure I would have O'd yesterdaybat the latest. My temp was slightly up yesterday but not a post O temp, though headed there. Not sure if I can be bothered dtd again.

How are we all holding up? I should be 2dpo, my temp was above cover line this morning, though only just and I forgot to temp yesterday, but pretty sure it was cd 16 or even 15 I o'd and just hadn't got the full temp rise on cd16. Back to work now and looks like I will be crazy busy so hopefully it keeps my mind off things. I need to get back to the mkndset I had when ttc ds, hopefull. I am going to start some exercise, hubby has said he will cook tea a couple of nights he is home so I can go for a walk or run, though it's so hot I would prefer to go later but by then it's ds's bedtime. I am also going to see if he can swing getting Tuesday nights off so I can start netball again, I used to love it and have't played since I was lregmant with ds. By no means will it be anywhere near wherei was when I conceived ds, but it's a start. I can't do thegym now and back then I was at the gym at least four to five times a week

I'm guessing I o'd on New years but since I'm not temping just going off of CM this month. It's possible I haven't O'd yet too. Unless I have crazy symptoms I won't test until the 17th.

I hope you get to play netball and walk too Wendy!

Thanks Mel. I hope so too, i'm hoping to make 2014 the year of finding me again and not worry about fertility, what will be will be.

Jodies, sounds like we will have similar cycles, I worked out today that assuming my cycles stay normal if I am not pregnant this month next month my testing day wll be around valentines day.

Tonight I am enjoying a family movie night with hubby and ds. Ds's attention span is low and he is more interested in the food, hubby and I are having a drink with our movie, best part about doing movies at home.

I made the same resolution Wendy. I'm on day 5 of eating better and exercising three days a week. I'm also trying to take more time for myself to do things I like. Smile Here's to us!!! :occasion1:
