Looking for some help.

Im trying to find someone who will help me with sewing a few baby blankets for my daughter.
I am going to be buying some fabric, but my only prob is that i dont have a sewing machine and i have NO idea what to do even if i did have one.
I would love to have some basic, thin blankets for our LONG plane ride to japan (military move in november) and to bring to the beach.
If anyone would like to talk or help me out please PM me!
thanks

Courtney - have you thought of trying to make fleece knotted fringe blankets?? I'm actually going to make them this year for a bunch of Christmas gifts. You can do a search on the net to find what I'm talking about. Basically you buy a printed fleece and a solid fleece, even out the two cuts of fabric, and cut strips about one inch wide/three inches long and tie the two pieces together. They're way cool blankets. You can make them what ever size you want, just get the same yardage for both pieces of fleece. If you want more details, just pm me!
