Need Opinon

This was my first ever shot at sewing and making curtains.. I want to make curtains for my kitchen and dining room.. Figure it's cheaper.. I know there's a ooopppss.. I made them to short in width and then I made a peice to short in lenght.. go figure ..

What do ya honestly think..

For a first time attempt. They are pretty good. I love the color. You now know you mistakes and what you did. So now you can do another pair and know what NOT to do. I think they came out great.

That's impressive for a first try! You could easily hem the bottom side panels to match the length of the middle one, and use the extra from the hem job to make the top center panel more full. I really am super impressed that was your first time with a machine... you're going to be fantastic!

Thank you so much.. I just wasn't really sure about it.. My DH said he loved it but you know men..

I did the dining room curtains today well one set.. I still have another set to do.. DH has decieded I'm going to do the whole house with curtains and he's going to go and by me the fabric tomarrow.. Gotta love him.. Actually it was alot of fun.. Now just got to get the machine mastered..

I'm really impressed with all that you guys do.. It's amazing..

Here are the one's I made for the dining room..I tried to make the top valance puffy or balloned but didnn't turn out right.. so going to take the stitch out and just let it hang free..

Great job on those ones two. The more you practice the better you will be. Making curtains is fun. I made them for my daughters room and the bathroom. I found matching Frog fabric for my bathroom and Princess fabric for my Daughter. Keep up the great work.

yes, it gets easier every time. are you working without a pattern? Every project you make will get better and better. Smile

Thanks ladies.. I''m working with out a pattern.. I didn't realize they had patterns till yesterday.. thanks for all the confidence.. any suggestion you might have would be greatly appreciated.. you all do a wonderful job.
