My doctor will likely put me on Femara this cycle after I go for my HSG. Does anyone have experience with this drug? What were the side effects?

I was on Femara for a few cycles and didn't experience any side effects. Hope this brings a BFP for you!

I was on it for almost a year when I got my BFP! Ironically it was the month they were going to do my first IUI, but when they did the ultrasound, I only had one follie, so they said my chances were the same if we just dtd, and that was our month!
I had NO s/e. That's what is so wonderful about Femara. It is safe since it leaves your body quickly and doesn't thin your lining like Clomid can. Usually if it's going to work for you, it will happen quicker than it did for me, but don't give up, sometimes it takes some time for your body to get used to it. This is an article my RE had me read; it has great info on Femara/Letrosol. It discusses IUI as well, but I found the info about the drug itself helpful, since it is fairly new in being used for fertility. Best wishes to you! http://www.soft-infertility.com/docs/PIletrosolIUI.pdf
