Smile Update on our baby!!!

Hi guys! I know its been a while since I posted but I wanted to let you all know that things are still going great with the baby!!! I wanted to wait until I had results of amnio back as at my age they aren't too crash hot, but thankfully we survived it and the baby is perfect. Not only that, as the icing on the cake we found out that we are having a little girl!!!!! After 2 boys I was sure that I was having another one , so when I found out it was a girl I was in shock and was teary for days!! Still in shock! I am just starting to allow myself to look at pretty stuff in the shops and have only purchased a few things so far, but I'm sure that will change!
Now I am 21 weeks and baby is due in early Feb! We are just so excited and blessed. Hopefully someone out there will know me and get my good news! Big hugs to all and keep positive.WE can have healthy babies at 43 years old!!! xoxoxoxo

*lurker alert*

Hello Michele!!!! Something dragged me back here tonight to check on old friends, and here I see your name with fabulous news. So thrilled to hear it. Hope things are going well.

What a shame you don't live closer- with 3 girls, we have a LOT to give away, and we're done

PM me if you get a chance with what you have been up to etc. Are you on facebook?!

Anna

p.s: Edited to say hahahah to your old siggy pic that I made a LONG time ago. Have you got any more techno savvy yet? Any new photos?!!!!!

Im so happy for you! This post was one I really needed to see today. I am 43 (4 DD's and 1 DS), had an surprise pregnancy and m/c'd @ last week @ 5.3 weeks. My SO and I have decided to actually ttc and not wait any longer due to my age (3 yr relationship - he has never been married and no kids and is 8 yrs younger). I have found myself reading so much depressing stats on the internet about pregnancy/fertility, etc over 40 and reading your post made me smile ear to ear and feel a sense of hope. I'm new to this board - but, happy to have found it and the wonderful ladies (and inspirational ones like you!) here! A very
hh9m to you!

Lurker here, but just wanted to say congrats to you, and a HH9M !!! I love hearing stories of healthy pregnancies 42 and older ! I'm 43 myself, and trying. My friend recently gave birth to a healthy son this past July, a surprise pregnancy! And she was 44 when she got pregnant! She just turned 45 last month! I love it!

*** lurker ***
That's so awesome and YES WE CAN!
I am nearly 8 months pregnant with my first baby (he's a boy, Noah Joseph) and yes, it was a surprise because I'm 44!
Granted, there have been several complications (had cerclages put in back in August and have been on complete pelvic rest and off of work ever since) BUT it's worth it!
Good luck to all of you!
