My name is Kim and I've been known here as kimkabob and Waterfall; however both id's have apparently been deleted and being without a non dial up computer for a year and a half I am scared that my private journal has been deleted. I've tried to contact MissyJ to no avail. I know this is not the best place to put this but I am desperate as I have many poems and pictures on my private journal that I am hoping desperately weren't deleted. Who is the tech specialist nowadays so I can contact them regarding this?

On another note, for those who remember me, I am doing well and it was so nice to scan the boards and see so many familiar names! I hope to be posting more and reading more and actually being able to be on this site again; hopefully this computer will actually allow me to do so.

So hello to everyone!!!! Julie! And where is Lumpy and Dewey and Jules and so many? I look forward to catching up with you all and meeting some wonderful new people as well.

Hi,

I know they did recently do a clean up of the boards (ie pruning old threads, removing inactive forums, etc.). That may have included some unused private journals but I am not certain. I've sent a message to Missy to get clarification.

Hi Kim How are you doing? Nice to see you again. Hope you get answers. I tried to sign in this week and it wouldn't let me I had to get a new password and everything works ok for now... I likely will get signed out again before too long and have troubles getting back in again.

Your Waterfall account does still exist. I can reset it for you if you are having trouble logging in. Just email me at missyj@pregnancy.org and I'll take care of that for you asap. Be certain to include both your current username, the username you prefer, and the email account you want associated. You had us change your username from kimkabob5 to the Waterfall one years ago so that account does not exist.

Unfortunately your private journal does not exist anymore. The last time we communicated (back in April 2008 ) the journal had not been posted in by you in over 8 months at that time. I asked you then what you wanted done with the journal and did not receive a reply. Your last post onsite was back in July 08 and the last time you checked in was in October of last year. Due to inactivity on the journal in well over a year (actually almost 2 at the time) the journal was removed -- since it did appear to be abandoned by that time.

Janel... sadly it does seem that yours too was removed for the same reason (inactivity in over a year.)

In the Fall of 2007 we notified each journal owner personally to please insure that these stayed active (at least one post per month) to avoid giving the impression that they were abandoned. We did post two notices on site at the beginning of this year before those were moved to deactivated status and then there was another 6 month window before they were finally removed.

I am really sorry as I do know that those contained special memories for you both. I wish that there was more that I could offer now but do hope that you are able to understand.

P.S. Hi Kathy! If you continue to have issues with your account drop me an email and I will reset yours as well. It does appear that your homepage profile remains incomplete which will end up kicking your account again at some point.
