Default **Updated with pics! Question about digital vs First Response

Hi everyone! I took 2 store brand tests (blue dye) on 11/1 and both came up positive (not extremely dark line but definitely there right away). After reading about the blue dye tests I went out and got a 2pk of FRER and one Digital. I took one FR yesterday during the day and the line was so light I could hardly see it but the control line was also very thin. First thing this morning, I took the digital and the other FR. The digital says pregnant but the FR doesn't have a second line and again the control line is really skinny. Anyone ever had a problem with First Response? Which one should I believe?

11/4-

Thanks everyone. Well I took an Answer test this morning and got a BFN so I went out and bout a clearblue digital and an equate (pink dye). I took both after holding it for about 4 hrs and the digital said not pregnant but the equate looked like this in less than 3 minutes. I'm already waiting for a call back from the doctor so I can go in for a blood test.

while i believe that the digital ones are usually right, i've seen one incidence where the FRER digital has given a false positive, though it was a few month post partum for the person who took it (not me haha). I'd say test again with a two line FRER with FMU to be sure, but i bet you're preggers. when the control line is also screwed up, that usually means a bad test...good luck

Sounds positive to me. I had very faint lines with little to no color myself on FRERs up until 13 DPO and I had a positive digital test at 12 DPO. I've never heard of a false positive with a digital. Pics would be great!

I would test again in a few days. I too have heard of a few false positives on digitals, but I think it was the clearblue easy digitals.

I think its a pretty good chance your knocked up wait it out a couple more days and test agan to be sure though, if you are knocked up you definetly should be getting a faint line atleast by then!!

I would say you are preggers since that is 3 positive tests even if two were blue dye! I havent ever heard of false positives on digis either. I suppose it could be possible but more likely that you got a bad batch of FRERs which also dont normally give false positives. Try again w/ a different batch or another brand and I bet you will get a better line.
