Appt today..LONG

Well... hubby and I decided we were full fledged trying for a baby today. I had an appt scheduled at 11:15, so I woke him up early and we dtd. I started having contractions, which is normal for me, and they were a little painful, but I am not big on keeping track of them, so no clue how far apart.

We got to my appt, and everything was fine. Heart beat like high 150's, bp fine, measurement 38 weeks. My stomach was kinda upset today, like bm upset, so I didn't want to give a pee sample and doc said it was ok. I decided that I would let doc try to strip my membranes, but would stop her if it was too much. I pretty much knew I couldn't handle it ahead of time, but was gonna try. First she tried to check my cervix, which is not easy with me cuz I HATE it. She said it was at least at 1cm, could be more but she wasn't gonna push it with me cuz I was miserable. She told me she was gonna try to strip the membranes and I felt this awful pain and tensed up and she looked at me and said, I haven't started yet. As soon as she said that, I knew it wasn't gonna happen, cuz I was already about to die. I let her try for like 2 seconds and yelled stop. I honestly do not know how some of you girls have that done. I don't think 4 ppl coulda held me down for that to happen lol. So anyhow, we left with me telling her see you tonite or tomorrow lol.

We went from there to a restaurant where I made sure to eat some pineapple from the buffet. Not a ton, but just cuz lol. I was contracting a lot more often and harder at this point, not sure if it was from the doc or from earlier dtd with hubby. He would like credit I was miserable. Every time a contraction would hit, I wanted to freakin puke. It was very hard to finish my pineapple, but I did, just in case lol.

We then went to Toys R Us and got a diaper bag, and I'm sorry, but I spent 50 dollars on one and it made me want to puke lol. Things were NOT that expensive 6 yrs ago! I depended on the cart the whole way thru the store, cuz I couldn't walk otherwise. I seriously felt like either puking or passing out with each contraction. Next we headed to Target. We returned a couple things and got some stuff we haven't gotten yet. Vibrating bouncy seat, nipple shield, breast pads, bfing cover, ect... Still had to use cart, contractions sucked. Went to one more store and now I'm home.

Throughout all this running around, I used the bathroom many times. Nothing showed up on tp, but I had the worst pressure when sitting. Made me not want to go when I had to each time. When we got home, I went again, and low and behold, blood. It could just be from being checked, or could be a sign of things to come, so we'll see what happens. I have just now started keeping good track of the contractions and they aren't regular but are happening pretty fast. Anywhere from 1 minute to 4 minutes apart at this point. I am not one to rush to the hospital though, so I will definately be waiting it out and seeing how they progress. We are supposed to go to another store in a little bit, and I'm hoping to survive the trip lol.

oh wow! i sure hope labor starts for you soon!!! I cant see how you were able to go to all those places!! LOL
I was supposed to go to a few stores today but changed my mind. Especially since my cell phone isnt working. Ive been having irregular contrax since sunday morning and my oh my, i have never felt so miserable in all my pregnancies. I hope labor starts for me soon bc these things are wearing me out.
They kept me up all night long last night and were pretty sporadic throughout the day. Sometimes they are regular then just go away. its soo annoying! :/ ugh. lol
Why does our body want to tease us like this?! grrrr...
I hoping for labor to happen soon for you and ME! (girl i am praying! haha)

You were a busy bee today! Dont' know how you did all that! I hate the cervical checks too, mine today hurt alot and I've been feeling it every since! KUP!

Ehhh not feeling real positive at this point. I went to bed earlier in the evening and the contractions slowed way down again. I am still seeing stuff when I wipe, tmi coming up (sometimes brownish clotty stuff and sometimes just brownish red blood). Hopefully this was at least not all for nothing and by the time I go in next I'll be much further dialated. I'm not sure if I'm ready to dtd again or anything else to help, cuz today wore me the heck out. We'll see though, I may change my mind.

On another note, I finally got hubby to put together our pack n play, cuz that is where the baby will be sleeping at first. We are keeping it right next to my side of the bed. And OMG it is so much freakin easier to get out of bed now! It sits higher than our bed does, so I can just grab the side now and use it as leverage lol. Sounds dumb, but I was at the point of either rolling totally off the bed or making hubby help me every single time.

Too bad things seem to be slowing. Maybe they will pick back up??
