Default Bonfire Night Thread

What are you all doing tonight and over the weekend?
Are you baking something- please send some to me

I want to see pictures of your baking, and at your bonfire/fireworks (obviously when the night is done lol)

Tonight we are going to a bonfire down the road, last year it was fantastic the fireworks went on for ages and Josh loved them. Adams brother and sister are coming too... then on Saturday my mum and dad are in London so we are having my best friend and her boyfriend over and having RomanCandles in the garden then it XFactor time!
I reckon im going to have a go at making some Parkin and bonfire toffee, just because my best friend has made scones that she says are the best ones ever.. ill show her up with my fab parkin... haha

I'm Scrooge on Bonfire Night. I HATE fireworks with a passion so I will be staying in moaning that people on the road are letting fireworks off and waking up my baby and scaring my cats. This will also be my weekend!

Hope you have fun though!!!

We are having a fireworks party on Sat night - AKA waking babies and scaring cats lol. I hate cats so the latter is always a pleasure. Sorry Sarah, but they s**t in my garden.

We will do it around 7pm so its not too late, as I am considerate really -of humans anyway - and Olllie will watch as he LOVES them. He saw some a few nights back and was so excited. We are having lots of family over, eating pizza and watching them (me and Ollie will watch from inside though) I am also baking some parkin -mmmm yum!

What's parkin??

No-one I know is having a Bonfire party so if the rain stops, we'll go to our local one that's held on the beach.

No plans for weekend. I wanted to do overtime but because I can only do Sundays and they'll be no-one in, I can't hmph. Looks like I'll be getting a second job!

xx

We aren't doing anything tonight. I love fireworks! I don't mind fireworks at sensible times, it does piss me off when they are still going off after 10pm and into the night, there is no need for that. I must remember to shut the rabbits in the shed nice & early tonight.

Tomorrow I will be baking 2 birthday cakes, one for Zack to smash up, the other to serve up and eat, lol!

Saturday: My baby turns 1 We have no plans for the day apart from filling Zacks day with fun, laughter & love, oh, and presents, lol!

On Sunday we are taking the boys here, we are hoping to get trackside parking so we can warm up when needed

More than likely! Plus AF is due to find me anytime now, so feel extra emotional anyway. It's traditional to cry on their 1st birthday...isn't it or is it just me (and you?)
