Stressful day... (Ft. Hood)
My husband is a Defense Contractor on Ft. Hood, so as can be imagined, it was a very stressful, worrysome day for us. Luckily, my husband and I were in constant contact throughout it all. His building is just around the corner from where all the shooting went down.
He just finally got home about an hour ago, and it was so great to put my arms around him. We're saying lots of prayers for all involved.

I am so glad he is okay, I can only imagine the stress you guys went throu. God Bless Fort Hood in these difficult times. We are here for you Brothers and Sisters!

How scary. Thank goodness you were able to know he was ok. I'm so sorry for all those families who lost their loved ones!

I cannot imagine the stress you and the rest were feeling at Fort Hood. Thank goodness your husband is okay. All of those who had a loved one injured or killed are in my thoughts and prayers as are those that had to go through that stressful ordeal.

I'm so glad he's okay! We have tons of friends that recently PCS'd tyhere so I was going crazy trying to hear from them all...I can't imagine being anywhere near there right now. To say we feel safer living on a military base just doesn't sound so smart anymore.

I'm so sorry you had all that worry and thank goodness he is home safe. I haven't seen much about what happened because I was on a long flight yesterday and was exhausted when I got home, but something was on the news about it (here in the UK) and I gathered that something terrible had happened there. I expect we'll learn more later. It's very sad.
