Whats everyone up to this weekend?
It was crazy thunder and rain today, hoping to be done with rain and into nice so cal weather! Not much going on with me. DH just came home from a week training. I am going to work a little tomorrow and thats about it! But seriously, please tell me I am not the only one where TOC is taking over! seriously its driving me nuts!

Jessica, yeah we had picked out June as our TTC date. We shall see what happens. Some people are really gender picky...but I think a boy or a girl would be equally fun. Girl names are more fun. I can see myself having a boy though. And I like baby boy clothes better because there is just too much pink in baby girl clothes.

Isis, good luck with your appointments. Hope they can shed some light on what's going on with your son.

Sara, I'm a crazy about TOC too. You're not the only one.

AFM-It's supposed to rain all weekend, which is great because I have to study. I'm going to take a study break and go to yoga today. That's about it. Lots of babies are being born in April. Two of my cousins already had their babies. Both girls...Kadence and Isabella. And a 3rd cousin is also due at the end of April and also naming her daughter Isabella. They are using different nicknames though...Izzy and Bella. An old friend from high school had her baby yesterday and another friend is due next week. I don't know anyone due in May. But I do have friends due in June, July, August, September and October. It's the year of the babies.

Interesting! I always love hearing how other people feel about the gender of their future children. Like I said, my best friend has dreaming that she has a second girl on a regular basis, so now she's pretty sure that she might cry sad tears if they find out that they're having a boy. She knows that she'll get over it, and be super happy in the end no matter what, but she's banking on team pink!

We always have a running list of names, but the only name that we're 100% certain that we'll use somewhere is Berlin if we end up with a girl someday. I like it as a middle name, FH loves it as a first name. We like it because my mom's name is Beryl (sounds like Pearl but with a B), and his mom's name is Linda. We can knock out two "family" names in one shot, and most people won't get the reference. Since we like Berlin so much, we're wondering if we should go with a theme of sort and pick city names? I like Cairo for a boy... Meh, we'll see when the time comes. FH is dead set on Anthony for a boy, as it's his late father's name, but I reeeeaaaaalllly don't like the name Tony which it will for sure be shortened to. No offence to any Anthonys out there, it's just not my taste.

So far Dh and I like Sydney and Samantha for a girl and Nicholas for a boy. I am not set on anything yet, that is what I have so far that we agree on.

So when everyone starts TTC what method will you be using? Will you be Charting or JLIH? With my son he was not planned. With my daughter I tried a method to TTC a girl. I cant remember the name of it, but it worked or I got lucky. LOL. I was charting with her of course.

I love hearing other people's name choices because I can never decide until the baby is born! We got to the hopsital with a list of like 5 names and then decide once we see the baby! Our top name when we had Ethan was Jasper, but it didn't fit. Our top name with Olivia was Nora but that didn't fit either! LOL I can pretty much guarantee whatever the top pick is, that it's not going to end up being hte name! oops!

I'll be charting when we get to that point. Charted with both E & O. I don't use OPK though, just temping and try to CM chart, though I'm terrible at that. Good thing my temps are pretty easy to tell when I O!

I have a huge list of names, but DH doesn't like most of them. The names we agree on for a boy are Luke and Max. For a girl we agree on Mira, Leah, and Aletta. Lately I've really been liking the names Greta and Gemma. My maiden name starts with a G and since I've changed my last name I think it be fun to add that letter back in somewhere. He's coming around to both of those. I'm also into polish names, since I'm polish, but DH isn't liking the polish selections.

Ohh I love name threads as well!
We are both italian and have a very italian last name. So we want to keep with the italian theme. I would love to do Nicholi as my great grandfather was Nichola. But too femine for me for a boy. I toss that one around for a girl. DH mentioned he likes the name Oliver but that if shortened to Oli with our last name ending in an "i" its too much. For a girl I think we nixed Sophia it just didnt feel right. My SIL and myself horribly enough have the same.exact.name. So we thought Elizabeth Ida(after my grandma) but Elizabeth isnt very italian. I have a feeling when we do get PG its going to be a long ways before we pick a name.
A far as TTC we have no plans as to when, DH needs to be on board.I have very sporatic cycles- off BC they are anywhere from 30-60 days. I tried temping but it was a hassel. I used OPKs and it worked the first month, and we only had tried offically 1 month before hand. Oh and we used preseed.
