    Default Confused?

Okay I'm probably not even posting this on the right board, but I wasn't sure where it would go.

My body has been donig some strange things lately, and I have no idea how to explain them. It seems to me the only explaination would be pregnancy, but it would have to be some highly unlikely circumstances, but on the other hand, unusual things happen.

DH and I have been using withdrawl for contraception for years. It has worked okay so far. I got it in my head a little while ago that I didn't want to do that anymore during "unfertile" times, and that I was going to start charting. I told hubby I wanted to do that, and that month, two days after I though I O'd, we had DTD and didn't contracept. I thought I o'd because I had O pains, and I wasn't having too much CM anymore. But I got all worried because it was only 1.5-2 days after I had pains, which turns you I read you can have BEFORE O, at the time of O, or AFTER O. Since I wasn't temping, I had no idea.

AF showed up 4 days early that month, 8 days after DTD and 10 days after O-pains. Period was odd, no cramps, just backache. It wasn't too heavy, but I never bleed too much. I also didnt have a good measure on bleeding amount becuase I normally use a reusable menstrual cup but it wasn't ready when I started (because I started early) so I just used tampons that month. I usually have cramps that would criple a rhinosaurous, but no cramps at all. My boobs also got huge and sore and didn't "deflate" after my period like they usually do. I tested though and got BFN. I decided to wait. Here it is, another month later, and AF is here again, but odd again. It seems lighter, and is more half and half CM and blood, and the blood is light red not the usual dark red. I did have a little cramps, but not the rhinosaurous cripling kind, just an annoyance, not a lay in bed and feel like dying type. I do have some back pain, but that has been off and on all month.

So what has my body done in the mean time? I have gained 7-8lbs, all in my stomach and boobs. My boobs have gone from D's to DD's. I gained three inches on my waist (natural waist, right under my ribcage) literally in the past 3.5 weeks. How do I know that? I measured myself and spend $800 on a totally new work wardrobe. Now the pants, I bought three weeks ago, hurt because they sit high on my waist and are too tight. My belly below my waist but above my hips has grown too, but since I didn't measure that for clothes I do not know how much, but it is now almost as big around as my hips were when I measured three weeks ago. My belly feels hard but soft too. Not soft and squishy like DH's belly, it feels firm, but not super hard.

I mean, yes, I don't eat healthy, but I don't think I ate enough to gain that much weight and all in my stomach and boobs. I normally put weight on my butt and thighs. I tested yesterday (not with FMU, but its not like I'm 9dpo or anything) and it was BFN. According to DTD day, I would be 7w2d. But if I were pregnant, I would have to have decidual bleeding, and still be getting BFNs at 7 weeks. I hear it happens, but really? That seems like an awful coencidence. But I don't know how else to explain.

As for any symptoms, besides the weight gain and swollen boobs, I do have to pee a lot. Like last week, it was probably every 45 minutes to 1 hour. I do notice smells a lot, but I can't tell if it is more than I used to, or if I am just paying attention to it because I am looking for symptoms. I haven't felt nausous really, but I did get sick once last week. I didn't feel extremely queasy or anything, but my stomach didn't feel good and I went to the bathroom and got sick. It was just that once though.

Oh and you know what else is different about "AF" this month? Normally I am a TOTAL b*tch the day before she shows up. But I have been the cheeriest, nicest, most forgiving, easy to get a long with I think I have even been in my life. Just peaceful and happy. Weird.

Anyway, what could be happening? I want to go to the doctor, but my insurance doesn't kick in until Nov. 1st. Also, I have to get one of those exams to look for "pre-existing conditions", (which pregnancy is one) so I guess they will look for it then. I just hate this wondering. Oh and if you know a better forum for me to put this in, let me know, thanks!

ETA: I was testing with ClearBlue Digital when got BFN.

Hmmm... Strange. It sure sounds like pregnancy. I think the only way to know for sure is by getting a blood test from the dr. At least, November isn't too far away. Good luck!

Oh, as for boards, most of us are waiting for the "right" time to start TTC. I'm not sure if there's a more appropriate board. Maybe "Do You See a Line", especially if you have pictures of the hpts you took.

Right... I know. I was more thinking that is often the board people go to with their "am I or aren't I" questions. Most post pics of hpt's, but not all. Sorry I wasn't very clear... Apparently I was completely out of it this morning. I posted today's question of the day as "QOTD Friday". You are more than welcome to hang out here. It's a fun group of ladies. Good luck again. Hope you get the outcome you're wishing for!
