Howcome it's so quiet on the TOC Board?

Hey everyone. Is it suddenly a super-busy time for everyone? Or has the TOC slowed down (or graduated)?

Hi! Sorry it's slowed down. I "graduated" and am about 8 weeks pregnant so that's why I'm not around anymore.

Congrats! That's a pretty good reason for not hanging around here anymore Wink

I don't come around these parts often...I think I'll start back up once we're actually ttc or pregnant. There's only so much for me to contribute to in the mean time. lol.

We are TOC...I'm still POAS on OPKs because I'm addicted Wink But we also BD last time I had a + OPK so I'm technically in the TWW. I don't think I'm pregnant at all though. Our plan was to start TTC in June-July.

Hello Ladies! Lovely to hear there's still life out there.

I haven't got addicted to POASing yet. I couldn't stand the letdown each time it's a BPN Sad We haven't started TTCing yet... it's killing me that we haven't started. But DH needs to cover some (read tons of) concerns he has so we're working thru them in counseling. I just hope we can get past all this soon because I've been waiting for this for 7 years.

Enough of my whining. Good to hear you all Smile

I check in on this board from time to time. Hopefully we can get it going again. I kinda don't want to wait to TTC, too! I just got a promotion at work this week so we really do need to wait. What are you doing to prepare to TTC?

hey ladies. I have been MIA, work has been hectic to say the least. My energy is zapped by the time I have time to check out the boards. We are TTC January, possible December. For once in my life, my cycles are normal! I am down to 29 day cycles. So its helping for planning. I am going to try to post more here even while TTC. although- hoping not to stay too long Wink

Hello everyone. I am having log in issues on the computer and it is a pain to post from the phone. Sorry to be missing. I hope it picks back up soon.

So far I've made sure I've got all my vaccinations sorted, I've started taking pre-natal vites and folic acid and I've stopped smoking.

We're still not agreed on whether I must be entirely off the Lamictal that I'm taking for my BiPolar...that's one of the "things" we're working thru. DH wants me to be off it, the psychiatrist and GYN say I shouldn't/don't need to be.

I've nervous about starting to TTC because my cycle has been totally out of whack. For 2 years AF was 4 days, not heavy or painful, every 30-32 days. Now in the last couple months it's been a nightmare: backache and cramps from hell like 2 days before and then for the next 6; AF arrived 5 days early one month, 2 days late the next; I'm getting backache when I ovulate and tightening over and below my right ovary (very uncomfortable); and it hurts when be DTD Sad Really sounds like the Endometriosis is rearing it's ugly head again. So another reason I want to start asap.
